A Curse From Time

Time was never respected from his side

That's what he was, said everybody with a stiff

"Damn it, man!

Why hurry when I have so much to live"??

He would never show up on time and

This would affect his business and life

Just would utter the same old words

Upsetting his people and wife

Just once it so happened

In his life once

That time itself showed up

Which must have happened nonce

"What ails you "? asked time

" Just for once be punctual in life"

" Well you know what " replied him

"You sound just like my wife"!!

The time let out a huge sigh

Just before he went

Thinking there is no logic

In repairing a brain with a huge dent

But there was something

Which was explained by time's amigo

And that being no petty thing

Time just took the incident to its ego

The next day as usual

He started abusing time

Saying nothing but waste

All the way, all the time

"What if I controlled time," he remarked

And take care of everything by myself"

" Then I won't be cursing him at all

Just being the master of self"

And out of the blues, it so happened

That the sky burst out with the boon he wanted

A spotlight came over him and the sky uttered

GRANTED!!

He was out of control

And wanted to try,

So he went to his child and said

"Can we just skip his awful cry?"

And lo as if by magic

For the next ten minutes, his child didn't cry

It seemed as if he literally skipped the time

It was his boon which he gave a try

So now he completely understood the game

The boon which he got was not ordinary

He could cancel or skip time

And could stay at peace, not in a hurry

That's what he did every day

That's what he did every moment

Skipping time, passing through time

Getting rid of every possible torment

And one day it so happened

The sky gave him a warning

" Be careful with your gift

Or you will regret every night and morning"

Well let me tell you guys in case you don't know

That whatever is lost is soon found

In this vicious circle of life

Which is so profound

Time is never lost

Later it is recovered

You never understand this while wasting it

Since Under the blanket of power, you stay covered

That's exactly what happened to him

When he was once trying his hand

Suddenly his life skipped ten minutes

And in the next moment, he suddenly did land

Since we all know that

Anything and everything takes time

So for some time, everything stopped

That's the immense power of time

Since everything had stopped

Even air was not blowing

He was feeling suffocated

And only phlegm out he was throwing

When he landed in the next moment by default

Everything was back to normal

He was standing alone, the party was over

Stood like an idiot in his formal

He just couldn't understand

Why was the party over in a jiffy

He got scared as this was not the first time

That he was trapped in moments so stiffy

And it happened again and again

He was losing precious moments of his life

Maybe he was too greedy in terms of time

Now he remembered the golden words of his wife

And then one day it so came

That he wanted forgiveness

For all he did, all he lost

He wanted back his happiness

And he was about to utter

The golden words begging love

He suddenly felt a sharp jerk

And fell down with a thud

That seemed the end of the person

Who wanted war with time

That's how time got the world rid of him

His deeds and his crime

Now I must add the last

Few lines which may rhyme

All that happened was nothing but simply

The curse from time....
