Stealing jewels and gold, with each other's sight. 

Their love grew stronger, with every loot, 

An unbreakable bond, a dangerous pursuit. 

But as the stakes grew higher, their luck began to fade, 

And the law caught up, with their love on parade. 

They stood before the judge, with nothing left to lose, 

And in each other's eyes, they found their only excuse. 

For better or for worse, their love was true, 

And even in the face of justice, their hearts rang true. 

For though they lost their freedom, their love would endure, 

A crime of passion, a love that was pure.
