A grain of sand.

I lay there lifeless,

I'm one in a million

Yet I'm ignored.

It’s warm, it’s summer

I wait day and night,

The Warmth of the sun and sea

The wait is worth it.

Oh wind, won’t you wait?

You go swish and swoosh all-day

Do you stop to rest?

 Birds, keep chirping

I like the way you sing songs

You bring hope to me.

I’ll wait for you

I will count the days

Sit in my house patiently

Till drops of rainfall.

Clouds

Jumping, dancing, fun

I want to be among the clouds

Oh, what a fun time!

Oh, it’s so cold!

Out, no place to go

Streets are white and so are trees

I have nothing to eat

Spring returns again

I’m longing for you

Great weather, vivid flowers

Bring some beauty and joy

Coming home

I ran through the hazy meadows during the pouring rain,

Looked around but all in vain.

I stepped into a pile of wet and gooey mud,

Falling, my skin ripped out, covered in blood.

Not caring I ran like the winds,

Only stopping to find my precious friends.

Every animal, ferocious or tame, big or small,

My family, friends, and all.

I realized it had snowed,

It didn’t matter as I reached my humble abode.

Loving companions greeted me with open arms,

I melted into them, I was calm.

I was bounded with protection,

Love and affection
