A Clown's Life
A Clown's Life
Face painted white,
Lips wearing a red smile,
The nose of a ball so colossal,
Clothes that mimic comical.
Making people smile,
Hiding tears inside,
Laughing with shrieks,
Heartache never speaks.
Wearing a smiling disguise,
Mask is fuzzy vague,
Don’t stumble with fear,
I am not a creep, dear.
See the act I put,
With big shoes on the foot,
Let's design funny sight,
To make everything right.
You see a clown face,
But not my profile,
With smile sparkly painted,
A clown’s life is knotted.
