When Grandpa first came to stay, winter had already set in and she did not mind giving up her nursery for the comfort of her parents' room and he too didn’t mind the nursery for it was a case of sliding into a second childhood.

She egged her eyes out in amazement at the eventual submissive nature of Grandpa - no fussiness, no refusal from his part to eat blander food, mentally taking note of all tactics that she were to adopt in future on her parents for retributive justice.
