Eclipse
Eclipse
Let’s hear the story of the sun and moon,
And their ever-lasting love for each other.
They see each other all day, night and noon,
But never able to meet one another.
Let’s gaze at the light they spread, giving
Life to everyone. While one shines brightly,
During the day and the other glows, chilling
And lighting up the darkest of nights brightly.
Let’s pity their star-crossed love story,
As the Earth, an outside force comes in-between.
Stripping them away from their light and glory,
Causing one of them to slip away, unseen.
Let’s cheer for their eternal affection,
As they finally meet, throwing darkness upon us again.
They escape together, into a different dimension,
Only to be broken apart by fates once again.
Let’s hear the story of the sun and moon,
And the natural phenomena of their separation
And union. Far apart, they sing their love tune
As we applaud the magnificence of their converse creation.
