My Mom, My Hero

Mom when I look at you,

I see a hero walking without cape, without any want for applause or appreciation.

Your boundless immense love ,

your boon to heal my every hurt,

the way you are always there for me,

for every moment of every day,

makes me grateful that I am your daughter.

With open arms and open heart,

with enduring patience and inner strength,

you sacrificed everything for me, mostly yourself.

You are my teacher, my safe place, my light bearer, my encourager, my friend, my hero.

Sometimes I foolishly take you for granted, but Mom I will try my best to change myself, to improve myself.

I know that whatever I am today is because you and your love, support and care.

Sometimes I gaze in wonder that,

what will happen to me if you weren't there.

You are my hero mom,

You are my life mom.
