There was a lady who had a garden which was divided into two,

Half of which grew vegetables the other half...No one really knew

She loved to have guests and make luncheon,

With the things picked freshly from her garden nothing was more fun.

"How long do you desire to stand outside?"

She asked while pushing the door wide.

"If you insist", he acquiesced,

While gazing at her with flirtatious eyes.

Looking outside for the last time before locking the door,

He noticed, in her beloved garden, a gruesome scarecrow.

Disturbed by it's horrendous sneer and grisly feel,

He asked, "Such a repulsive thing in your garden, belle?"

"Oh that", she replied, her groan turning into an amusing smirk,

"I don't want my precious garden to get destroyed by birds."

The scarecrow was nauseating, he couldn't hold back,

"It was... Abnormal", the words left his mouth and he heard something crack.

He sat up straight as she pushed back a blonde lock and walked closer,

"Normal is an illusion", she said in a voice creepier and hoarser.

"What is normal for the spider is chaos for the fly",

She went back to cooking after serving him the wine.

He heard the broth boiling and smiled to himself,

Right away forgetting about her meaningless nuisance.

She was beautiful, the corset and gown bringing out her heavenly body shape,

Epic Caribbean blue eyes, an ocean of emotions and oh! That white skin, he couldn't help but gape.

"I don't understand", he licked his lips and placed the wine glass back on the table,

"What is growing on half of your garden, when the other half grows vegetables?"

She grinned from ear to ear, an inhuman smile, he couldn't see.

She placed the last item on the plate, "Don't worry, that's what I'm going to serve with the meat."

She placed the platter on the counter and he got prepared to eat,

As she sat across him, crossing her feet.

They talked as he ate, he never missed an opportunity to appreciate her meal,

She blushed scarlet at his compliments and said it wasn't a huge deal.

Slowly he started loosing his vision, he called out for the lady,

He spat out blood, a fair amount, and his skin started shedding.

His skin broke like plaster onto the floor tiled,

The lady walked to the now dead man and passed a dark smile.

She dragged her new victim by his hair and took him out of the French window,

Knocking down the old one, she knew it was old, she placed up her new scarecrow.

Working hard, she tied him up, the carpet had drunk the blood and the skin seemed like paper bits,

She heard a knock to which she grinned, it was her new guest.

There was a lady who had a garden which was divided into two,

Half of which grew vegetables, the other half could kill you.

She loved to have guests and make them luncheon,

And sometimes for cooking she used to mix the ingredients from both halves of her garden.
