The dreams I had when I thee wed,

Impetus feelings deep in my head.

Your love had the intensity,

Like the lasting feeling of apricity.

Your compassion was short lived,

And many of my dreams were left unlived.

Something brought a change in your heart,

Although we lived together, we were far apart.

My colorful life had turned black as soot,

Your love for me had withered till the root.

Frustration and agony came as a friend,

My eyes dripped blood by the day's end.

I longed for your smile, I longed for your touch, 

What did I do for you to hate me this much?

Tried my best and gave you everything you wanted,

My love for weakness, you took me for granted.
