Fire is this element's name

Looking so beautiful, naturally

When burning logs and rising, passionately.

Sometimes destructive and out of control

Our houses it can burn down whole

Destroying forests, causing lightning and volcanic eruptions

Punishing man, for all his sins.

First used by prehistoric man in the cave

From cold weather his life, fire did save

Cleansing and purifying everything

Ancient fire rituals, blessings did bring.

Commemorating every single birth and death

Guarding the hearth, lighting the path ahead

One must learn to respect fire

It connects us to our passion, sexuality and desire.

Oh Fuji, Pele, Vesta, Sekhmet and Uvavnuk

Before these Fire Goddesses', I solemnly pray

With folded hands and on bended knees

To contain my rage and transform into action, my dreams.
