Dreams or puzzles

I woke up this morning,

To a very weird dream,

Ran up here and there,

To find what does it mean.

I saw a girl,

I have known her for ages,

She took out her beating heart,

Held it right in front of me.

She asked me,

"Do you see the scars?

Wounds that you had given me,

Have healed over the years,

But has etched deep marks..."

I took out my bleeding heart,

Held it in front of her.

I asked her,

"Do you see my wounds?

I have caused them by myself,

By giving you those wounds.

Will they ever heal?"

We spoke along the path,

Little did we know what fate had in-store for us,

We came at a juncture,

Where our paths diverged.

She asked me,

"Will we ever meet again?"

I replied,

"Someday in heaven or earth,

Will meet our pains"

I sat by my window, 

Gazing at the blazing sun,

"Sun? Can you explain what my dream meant?

Or just let my inner soul to burn?"

A ray of hope is still kindled inside of me,

Someday we will meet,

And I will give her,

All her due treats.
