Enigma Of Beauty

In the early hours

Of the morning

As the dew drops

Were still on the leaves

I was walking

Along the garden

 

The rose flowers

Attractive In varied colours

Called me, and said

Why don’t you spend

Time with me

I am the most beautiful

Plant in the garden.

I went near

Thorn in the plant

Pricked me,

I said you look

Beautiful but you have thorns

 

As I was passing by

The beautiful

Little Jasmine

With its fragrance

Around called

Me, spend time with me

I'm the best in garden

I emit fragrance

And I exhibit Purity

As I am whitish in colour

I go near Jasmine

Just to figure out

The fragrance was

Great, but not as attractive

As rose, for once I touched her

The petals fell off and the

Whitish ting went off

And turned a bit brownish

Losing its purity

 

The shoe flower (Hibiscus)

Was yelling

Jasmine is too small

Not so attractive

Why don’t you spend

Time with me

I am large

Have different colours

And remain

Effervescent

For a longer time

Than Jasmine

I went near

The shoe flower

Did not exhibit

Any joy

As it had little

Fragrance

Had nothing to

Attract, just than its colour.

 

But the garden

In its entirety

With beautiful

Flowers all around

With great fragrances

In the early hours

Looked as if

I was travelling in Heaven

 

(No one Individual is blessed to have everything. The society looks beautiful because of the diversity it holds as much as the garden. Else there is nor charm in the society)
