My friend says he got a very busy schedule.

I find him talking to numerous people.

Talking to them who are well known,

Making random friends with the unknown.

He says they would make a towering ladder

That could take him up to heaven's door.

Alas! He doesn't know the key to that door

Could neither be bought nor

Could it be stolen, which is Locked in a drawer

Of the table placed near

The lord and is given to the rich or the poor

Who has the soul absolutely pure.

He could break the door he says

If not given the keys.

He would never get on his knees,

Instead, snatch the keys

And barge into the heaven,

Grapple the throne and wear the crown.

Isn't it weird to climb up to the sky

With a living ladder so high!

Being worried I asked him why

Did he choose such a risky way?

The living ladder is the only stairway

That he could blindly rely on.

The safest as well as the easiest path he is building,

And he is born not to crawl on the land but to fly

Did he say.

He asked me to be his ally.

As I can’t bear the cost so I had to deny it.

I said I am happy with whatever I have

I love my people and my home is my heaven

Here do I live, I cry and I laugh

Neither do I have wings or the wish

To fly so high

I do also have acrophobia…..
