Today, I was playing with my friends and they asked me to play cricket with them. To be honest, I never really liked playing cricket, not because I am a girl but because I find it a bit boring. Playing other games like volleyball, basketball are my interests. So, I said that I don't wanna play cricket and my other friend, Olivia told them that she feels delighted so she was in and it was all set. Yosef, my other friend who is a boy was tired and told the other boys that he doesn't want to play. Before, we were playing "Tug of war", a deadly game and our hands were in agony.

Austin was so thrilled to play cricket but he couldn't believe that his best friend wasn't playing (Yousef). He said, "What! Yousef, aren't you playing? You are just sitting, like a girl and gossiping about useless things. Come on, huddle up and be a boy. Girls don't know the importance of playing cricket".

I jumped out of my skin when Austin said this and I couldn't be silent. Something was telling me that I should just probably ignore it but if I turn my back on this, the world would never change. Some people are acting like this year is 1980 but it's the 20th century.

"What men can do, women can do better".
