Once there lived a boy named Arul. He was very fond of all types of books. But his favorite books were storybooks, comics, joke books, science books, adventure books, and novels. Every day he would wake up early and study atleast one chapter or story in a book. Then he will go to school. He also will spend most time in the library near his house reading books. In school too he was a bright student. His teacher guided him and she will also recommend some books for Arul to study. He was very intelligent. He also likes any others had a most favorite book and that is a diary. He would write regularly about what is happening in his day. Then one day at school like always his English teacher recommended a book for him to study. It was the next-level books. Arul happily came back home taking the next level book. For him, the books were his best friends and he had no other best friends than his books, especially his diary. He loved his books. He later after refreshing himself and eating snacks he, as usual, went to the library taking his next-level book. He started reading it. But to his surprise, he couldn't understand the lines in the book. He himself could not believe it. A sad and dejected Arul went back home and took his diary. And started writing in the diary

Dear diary

Today the day started with a smile and I as usual in the morning read a book and went to school. It was jolly there too but when my last period came and it was English, my teacher recommended a book and she said it was the next level book and I happily took it home. But when I opened the book and started to read, I couldn't understand the words and lines in the book and I am unable to find out why. I tried asking the librarian but she couldn't help. So, sad I came back home and now I am writing. Please do help me solve this problem and give me an idea to make me understand.

Thank you

This was his diary message. He wrote and went to sleep. He had a dream. In the dream suddenly! His diary started talking to him! He was surprised! The diary explained to him that he can read it two to three times. You can pick the hard words and write them in your rough note. Then take the help of a dictionary! You can search the difficult words and can understand the meaning and reading will become easy. But first, it will be tough for you while reading the second level. So, put some more effort and hard work into studying and spend some more time reading and trying to understand it. He was very happy hearing this. When he woke up he first took out the second level book and as the diary had said to him before he took the help of the dictionary and to his amazement, he began to understand everything. He thanked the diary and from that day onwards the diary and Arul became even more thick friends and like this, the diary helped him to his future success.

Moral: We should also read more books like Arul and get more knowledge and succeed in life. If we cannot do something we should try and put more effort and hard work into success.
