The Slit Mouth Woman

Once in ancient Japan there lived a beautiful woman with her husband who was a samurai. The one who stared at the woman she just asked, am I, pretty? One day her husband was gone for a fight, when he came home he saw his wife with his enemy. After his enemy was gone, he took the knife kept in his home and cut the face of his wife and yelled, now who will think that you are pretty? The Woman was too sad because, her face was no longer beautiful. She took the knife kept in her home and killed herself. After 800 years, she became a spirit named Kuchisakiona.

Everyone in Japan was scared of her. Now she roams in the silent streets of Japan with a surgery mask wore on her face. She asks every single person, am I, pretty? If the person says no, she kills the person, but if the person says yes, she removes her surgery mask and shows her slit face and asks the same question in a scary voice. If the person says yes, she leaves the person, but if the answer is no, she kills the person. If there are too many people, she asks in a nice tone, but if there is a child, she pulls the child’s hair. Some people also say that she roams in other countries too. If any one takes her name in the silent streets of Japan, specially near graveyards, she will appear walking in a corner. There are some ways to escape, number1, just run away. Number2, say that, I killed the samurai that cut your face and number 3, just say yes if she ask you, am I pretty?

She roams in every silent streets of Japan because she is in the search of her friend. The parents in Japan stopped sending the children out of their houses, if they do, they send them with bodyguards .The samurai was too angry because he told her wife not to meet her friend because he was their enemy.
