The Haunted House

The low slung roofed old witchy house on the dead-end of the deserted street that had chipped off its gray paint; squinting, shuttered windows and the empty porch rocker that rocked, rocked, rocked day and night scared everyone who passed nearby. 

The door of this house was latched with an antic king-sized metallic lock. This house was suspected by three young detectives, while they were sauntering near the edge of the city one fine morning. Three experts, Damian, Daniel, and Iris Green were not only siblings but renowned detectives of the city. Iris said, "This is a weird house." "And a mysterious one," added Damian. Daniel also agreed. But, the three somehow decided to return.

Later, in the evening, they found Mr. Jason Smith, their neighbor. He was around 55 years old. He knew everything about the city. He was short-tempered and used to laugh rarely. He also had a big scar on his left wrist. Daniel inquired, "Mr. Smith, do you know anything about the abandoned house at the edge of this city?" "I don't know much about it and I don't care if ghosts, spirits, aliens, or monsters live in that house as heard from my great-grandfather. Don't go in that witchy house, unless you want to end yourselves," snuffed Mr. Jason Smith and rushed into his home. 

Damian, Iris, and Daniel wanted to end the curiosity of this haunted house and decided to go into that house. That night, at midnight, they all gathered in the backyard of their house. "Are you ready for this case," asked Daniel. "Yes we are," whispered all of them. They quickly and quietly started their bikes and within a few minutes, reached near the haunted house. There they saw the door wide open instead of being closed like what they saw in the morning. They looked around the abandoned house and found a sign saying "Be cautious! Danger ahead!" They further moved inside the house which was filled with silence, strangeness and darkness everywhere. No sound was  coming, only the "Whooshes" of the wind. Suddenly, a loud scream, "Aaaahhhh!" came followed by few ghosts, spirits floating in the air. Aliens creeping and monsters bursting around from anywhere. They really looked scary. 

Then, in a flash, Daniel disappeared. Gathering all her courage and with her sharp presence of mind, Iris threw a hard, rough, and rusty rod at an alien who was very close to Damian. It fell down and broke; she touched it and realized it was a drone. "These are drones! Find something hard to hit them,'' yelled Iris to Damian. Soon they destroyed all the drones with the help of rods and broken furniture. Damian and Iris went ahead to find Daniel. There, they saw two doors at the corner. They went into the first one and the room was vacant. Damian said. "Iris, listen, you go out of this house and call the police while I will find Daniel." "Ok, bro. I will be back as fast as possible," Iris replied and ran out. Meanwhile, Damian went through the second door and found six people there, including Daniel in dim light. He was tied with a rope. 

Then Damian recognized a person who had covered his face with a scarf, wearing a black long overcoat, and had a big scar on his left wrist. To his surprise, he was Mr. Jason Smith. Damian ran and five people followed him, they came out of the house. The police reached there just in time and told them about these mysterious people. Soon, Mr. Jason Smith was caught with his fellow men by the police. Finally he revealed that he was involved in smuggling and manufacturing of narcotics, drugs, and other such restricted products in that lonely house. Damian and Iris ran inside to free Daniel from the rope. Finally, the three succeed to disclose the truth about Mr. Jason Smith and the haunted house. Later, the haunted house was demolished and a garden and a play park for kids was built by government.
