The Happy Family

In today's world, many likes to prefer a nuclear family. While very few of them like to live in a joint family consisting of parents, grandparents, and the rest. Let's see what happens in this happy family.

Sakthivel is the son of Murali Krishna. Murali is a respected man in Pollachi and is also the owner of Murali Groups of Industries. He respects his people, especially the underprivileged a lot while he ill-treats his uncle Narendra's family alone.

Since his uncle's family had got all his properties in their name and made his father Ranganatham paralyzed permanently. In addition to that, he also became a reason for his mother's death in terms of the disown, after which the relationship between the two families becomes strained.

Murali Krishna's maternal uncles Ramkumar and Rishi Keshav join his family with their family and the only persons with whom he obeyed are Ramkumar, Rishi, and his father Ranganathan. However, unlike Murali Krishna, his son Sakthi is the irresponsible, carefree, and unemployed guy.

He doesn't know the value of life and the outside world, since the latter grew up in a hostel since his school days, after his mother Kanya's death, who died right after his delivery. Indeed, Murali loves his son a lot, since it was only because of his birth, he got developed in his business status.

But, he doesn't show it to him and instead chides him to work hard and achieve something good in his life. However, Murali's elder cousins Yazhini and Yamini, whom he considers as his own elder sisters, persuades Sakthi after he scolds him. Sakthi sees Yazhini as his own mother since she took care of him from childhood days.

Everything was fine until Sakthi does a miserable mistake in his life. Due to his reckless driving to Bangalore, Sakthi becomes a reason for the accident of a girl named Poorani, after which criminal charges are filed against him.

When pleaded by Yazhini to bail out Sakthi, Murali Krishna replies, "No sister. I cannot bail him out. Because of him, I developed a lot in business. Today just because of him, I have been put into this miserable position. Let him serve jail punishment."

"Sir. Anyways there, he is your son" said his PA Rajkumar.

"No Rajkumar sir. Let him serve the jail sentence" said Murali Krishna.

"Rajkumar. Please da. At least for my sake please bail him out" said his father.

But, for that too, he is not convinced, and even when Ramkumar and Rishi Keshav convinced him, it goes in vain. Henceforth, Yazhini goes to her room and locks herself in order to commit suicide.

"Sister. Please come out. Don't do anything" said Murali Krishna.

"Yazhini. Please come out, ma" said Ranganathan.

"Sister. Please come out" said Yamini.

"Why should I obey you da, Murali Krishna?" asked Yazhini.

However, before she can do anything, Murali manages to break the door and stop her. Later, he agrees to bail out Sakthi by bribing the police officer, but with one condition that no one should utter any words when the duo speaks.

To which everyone agrees to…

After bailing out Sakthi, he comes with the help of PA Rajkumar to his house. However, Murali stops Sakthi to enter his house and tells to everyone, "I have made a decision to which, you all should obey as I told you before."

Everyone remains silent.

"I have earned this much money as well as a reputation in this society. But, how have these things come into my life? You all know, how I worked hard for these things! Just because of him, now I fear my loss of status and reputation. Henceforth, Sakthi has to go out of this house. He has to explore this world. He should know how this world treats him and realize the selfishness of the people. In further, I will not give him any financial support" said Murali Krishna.

"Dei Murali. Think and speak your words, da" said Yazhini, Yamini and his father to which, Murali asks him, "Dad. Don't take wrong about me. I don't think you remember or not. You too had asked me to explore this world when I was the same age as Sakthi's. Now, as a father, I am trying to implement your ideas to my son. Do you think am I wrong?"

"You are right, my dear son. I know how you suffered a lot in your life. Let my grandson realize the sufferings. I thought selfishly about my grandson. I am sorry" said Ranganathan.

After hearing these words, Sakthi decides to go out of his house. Before going out, Sakthi returns his phone, car key, watch, and chain, which were all bought by his father. After this, he seeks blessings from Yazhini-Yamini and Ranganathan. Finally, he also seeks blessings from Murali Krishna, who pretends to scold him but, blesses him in his mind while, Yazhini faints on seeing Sakthi, going out from the house.

Yazhini and Yamini's husbands Mahendran and Jitendra are also heartbroken upon seeing Sakthi going out from the house. To Yazhini, Sakthi is her elder son though, she has a daughter named Meera. In furthermore, Yamini has a son named Hari. Hari and Sakthi's relationship is like brothers and he is heartbroken upon seeing him going out of the house.

Now, Sakthi comes out to the real world with his school and college certificates in Udumalaipet. Besides that, he also remembers his father's words that "He should never reveal his identity as Murali Krishna's son and he should reveal it only at a particular time after he settles down."

However, no one is ready to offer a job to Sakthi citing his inexperience in the field of work. Henceforth, he started to search for jobs in hotels, where to he doesn't find anything. But, finally, he has got a job in a hotel in Udumalaipet as a cleaner.

While washing the plates and leaves, Sakthi realizes the pain of hard work as well as the value of money. In furthermore, when he got his first scolding from the customer and the initial struggles, he realized the pain of suffering in the world and also recalls, how he used to scold the maids of his house.

He manages to find a good house near Gandhi Nagar after some time. One day, Sakthi's close friend and college sweetheart, Ishika meets him and is shocked to see him working as a servant in the hotel.

In addition, she is now working as an Exports manager in a private company near Elayamuthur. She goes near to Sakthi and calls him, "Sakthi", in tears. "Yes, mam. Please tell what you want" replied Sakthi, after hearing her words, implying that he had analyzed her to be his college sweetheart.

In the aftermath of his works, Ishika takes him alone and asks him what happened to which, he reveals everything, except his identity. Having pity on him, she plans asks him, "Sakthi. May I speak with my MD to give you a job?"

"Oh! Really!" said Sakthi to which, Ishika replies, "Yes" and he agrees to her words. In furthermore, his hotel owner is touched by his honesty and truthfulness. Finally, Ishika manages to make Sakthi passed in his interviews and impressed with his talents and work spirit, the MD offers Sakthi a Manager job in the field of sales management.

Over years, Sakthi works hard with the support of Ishika and brings so much success to his MD. After two years of working, Sakthi plans to set up his own venture in Udumalaipet with the help of Ishika's support, and over days, he falls for her. She too agrees with his love.

Initially, as an entrepreneur, Sakthi faced a lot of challenges, since the demands for other ventures raised up in the market of Udumalaipet. Henceforth, with the help of Ishika's support, he learns which products are highly demandable in the place, and after performing the research regarding those things, he plans to start up a food production sector in Udumalaipet.

Due to the honesty and sincerity in Sakthi's spirit, he grows up to a high position over one year and attains a huge success. At the same time, he gets married to Ishika with the blessings of his grandfathers, to whom he has informed and also requested not to tell this to his father, Yazhini and Yamini.

Since he plans to surprise them with his success. Sakthi's enterprise gets selected for the Best Entrepreneur award in India's Entrepreneurs sections of Chennai. After this, Sakthi extends his business sector to rural areas and other places with the permission of his BOD's and after this, they also develop a lot of villages by building educational institutions and many other things in Pollachi and Udumalaipet.

Meanwhile, Ishika gives birth to twins: Naveen and Praveen. The duo now attains the age of eight and are studying in a CBSE Schools of Pollachi, in a hostel. Some days later, Murali Krishna comes to know about his son's development and feels proud upon hearing this. In further, on the date of 28.10.2020, when the awarder asks Sakthi about the reason for his success he replies to him, "That's because of my father and my wife Ishika. If they were not there, I couldn't have realized the meaning of life and the value of money. I could have become useless in this society. My father made me explore this world through his harsh words while Ishika motivated me to achieve more. I realized how great the money is when I cleaned the plates and leaves in the hotel. The credits also go for my hotel owner and the company CEO, who offered me jobs in my hard times" and this has been watched tearfully by his hotel owner on the TV channel.

Murali Krishna sees this on a TV channel and now, his sisters Yazhini and Yamini ask him, "Murali. See how your son has become a bigwig in this society!"

"Yes, sister. He has achieved a lot. But, he didn't even tell me about his marriage. Is that right?" asked Yamini.

"Not to worry, sister. I too know about it. My father and maternal uncles told me about it already. You knew! I have become a grandfather now. You two have become a grandmother. If my wife is there here, she could have enjoyed this moment, so much" said Murali Krishna.

Everyone remained silent while Murali Krishna continues, "Sister. Let's bring back Sakthi to our house. He has achieved a lot" and Hari says, "I want him back, mother" to which everyone agrees to and they goes to Sakthi's house, who invites them all warmly with Ishika. The family is touched by the genuine and cute caringness of Ishika, which makes Murali remember his wife.

Later on, Murali wishes to see his grandsons, to which Ishika agrees. The duo has come for the house, citing to the holidays and she calls them, "Naveen-Praveen. Come down. Your grandfather has come"

"Yes mom," said Murali Krishna, and they come down after which, Murali Krishna says to Sakthi, "Hey. They are exactly like you" to which, he smiles. Everyone reconciles happily and at this time, Murali's uncle's family also learns this.

Narendra learns about the achievement of Murali's son and now goes to his sister(Murali's mother photo) and says, "Sister. We considered money and property as important in our life. But, because of the money, what did we achieve? Did we slept well or did we got anyone's support? Since Murali was good, he achieved so much success. Even his son Sakthi has become successful now. I am planning to reconcile with them, by completely turning into a new leaf."

In order to show the signs of acceptance, a rose falls on Narendra's hand as a blessing to reconcile happily with them to which, he thanks his sister and speaks with his family to reconcile with them, to which all of them agree.

Meanwhile, Murali's father that is, Sakthi's grandfather, becomes ill and gets hospitalized in Murali's house where doctors come and see him. Upon testing him, the doctors say, "We cannot do anything hereafter sir. His health condition became complicated. At any time and any day, he will die. Henceforth, take care of him. He should live happier for some days, before his death" and they leave the place.

At that time, Ishika tells her sons, "Praveen-Naveen. You should not disturb your grandfather, da. Ok?" to which they agree and after this, they go to their room. At this time, Ranganatham asks Yazhini and Yamini to go out for a while, he asks Ishika, Murali, and his cousins alone to be with him.

At this time, he asks Murali, "Murali. Do you remember? I got this same back pain some years back. That time, you only took care of me. At that time, I thought, will I be with you to see my grandson. But, I have seen him as well as his son, in a settled status"

"Yes, dad. Because of you only, I have achieved a lot in my life. If you were not there, I could not have achieved anything in my life" said Murali.

"Sakthi. Do you know how did your father come to this status? Did you asked him about that?" asked his grandfather, to which he has no answers.

"You know your sufferings. But, you should also know about our sufferings, da. Then only you can tell it to your upcoming generations. I hailed from an agricultural family and worked as a General manager in a private company. I taught your father about my sufferings and impacts on an everyday basis. In addition, I also asked him to explore the world. Indeed, he explored the world and realized the value of money. He worked hard and achieved big success in his life. More than my wife, I mean your grandmother, he loved me a lot and saw me as his mother's father. Besides that, she was money-minded, which irked him a lot, and furthermore, after being settled, your mother's family grabbed my properties. Before that itself, my son told me not to believe my mother blindly. But, I didn't obey him. After that, he took me from them his house and also disowned them permanently from his family. As a shock, his mother died and because of that, your father got punishment for meeting his mother's death. At that time, he realized how wrong he was by behaving harshly with her. My dear Sakthi. I want our family to be a happy family before I die. Promise me, da" said Ranganathan, to which Sakthi promises and in furthermore, Ranganatham asks Sakthi, "Sakthi. I also want Narendra's family to get reconciled with us" to which Murali Krishna becomes furious and shouts at his father saying, "How can you think like this even now, dad? Even if I die, I will never allow them to be a part of our family" to which, Sakthi tells, "Dad. Why are you getting angry? What wrong did my grandfather told? Let them also reconcile with us. Not all the five fingers are the same dad. We must need their support when facing an embarrassing situation. Let's accept them." Murali eventually gives up his ego and agrees to the words of Sakthi after which, Ranganatham dies.

His death is informed to Narendra and the latter arrives with his family. He falls to his feet crying and said, "Brother-in-law. I have made your life miserable by grabbing your property. For these many years, I and my sister thought that money is everything. But, through your son and grandson, I learned that, other than money, there are many other things in this world. Forgive me, brother-in-law."

"Uncle. Let's be together" said Murali after which, he hugs him and tells, "Forgive me da, Murali" while, Murali persuades him to forget and lead a new and happy life, and Sakthi supports his statement.

"Let's be the Happy family," said Hari and Sakthi, to which everyone laughs while, Praveen says, "Everyone please smile" and he takes a photo.
