The End

"The asteroid is heading undeterred towards us. We're doomed," the newsreader quoted, her face ashen and she sweats because asteroids are capable of causing a global disaster if they hit the Earth are extremely rare. Asteroids are rocky worlds revolving around the sun that are too small to be called planets. They are also known as planetoids or minor planets. There are millions of asteroids, ranging in size from hundreds of miles to several feet across. In total, the mass of all the asteroids is less than that of Earth's moon. They probably would need to be about a kilometre or more in diameter and it was one of the largest such as Ceres. It is 974 km in diameter and contains about 25% of the mass of all the asteroids combined. Such bodies impact the Earth only once every 100,000 years on average. Other objects of a similar size, such as comets, impact even less frequently, perhaps once every 500,000 years or so.

However, newsreader continued "The most famous asteroid ever was the one that hit Earth 65 million years ago. It's thought that this asteroid threw so much moisture and dust into the atmosphere that it cut off sunlight, lowering temperatures worldwide and causing the extinction of the dinosaurs since then our scientists around the world had tried their best as this is an international issue but this is their failure". 

I was shocked as I heard this sad news, I didn't know what to do, " Should I call my family for one last time or should I hide somewhere," these thoughts were rising in my mind and my body was paralysed with fear.

Soon satellite stopped working and electricity was gone too so I knelt to pray to God as it was the end. People are either wondering or boggling from death. Even the death of a person is very terrifying, the end of humanity and the universe is not imaginable. Humankind has been wondering how and when the Earth ends for thousands of years. The reasons of wondering maybe for different topics such as; to be prepared spiritually or religiously or to spend all the money that a person has or enjoy life more. 

The universe is the place where everything stays and occurs in. The universe was created from nothing with Big Bang. This place applies physical laws. Judgement day is the time many religions accept that God will end the life which we live. Mainly theories about the end of the world can be separated into three groups which are the end because of human-based problems, physical destruction of the universe and the order of God.

I felt much comfortable and relaxed as I handed myself in the hands of God who is the ruler of everything. He has complete and total authority over the universe. He has always existed and always will, and is so wonderful that He is best described by the word “indescribable.” God is good and God is just. He is holy and awe-inspiring. God is unmatched in His glory, supreme above everything. God is infinite, being all places and seeing and knowing all things at once. You mostly pray to God when you need help; when you are weak from inside as this was the end moment of one's life and his journey. 

Life is a journey filled with lessons, hardships, heartaches, celebrations and special moments that will ultimately lead us to our destination, our purpose in life. The road will not always be smooth; in fact, throughout our travels, we will encounter many challenges. Some of these challenges will test our courage, strengths, weaknesses, faith and everything comes when you hand yourself to God.

But still, I closed my eyes with fear of death too. Fear of the inevitable death, it surrounds us; it could be waiting for us at any corner (whether it be a car swerving out of control, an acute allergic reaction, a nasty slip on ice...). We tend to try not thinking about it too much, but it's something inevitable, something we all eventually come to. I believe that pretty much everyone dreads it in one way or another. I also believe that this fear usually arises from the fear of the unknown. 

"Would I go to heaven or descend to hell? Everyone has a soul. Every soul has a destiny. God explains that every soul will be judged. God warns mankind that during judgment we will receive a one-way ticket to eternity. God also teaches us that during this life we have two choices. We are granted free will to serve and honour God who is in Heaven, or we are free moral agents to choose Satan who will reside in Hell. Heaven is good. Hell is evil. The fact that God created mankind’s soul with an eternal destiny should have a significant impact on our choices and priorities. The benefits and splendour of Heaven are greater than the punishments and tortures of Hell. So we pray to God for the forgiveness of our sins.  

Suddenly massive hot wind struck me and there was darkness.
