Dear Tina,

The work is done. My plan has been a success. I am leaving this place forever. Don't try to call me at my number because it may never work again. I'll try my best to keep in touch with you.

Your dearest friend,

--

I was elated. After two weeks of restless search, there finally laid our answer. I called Shreya and left the house.

Two weeks ago:

The crime scene was extremely bad. The whole area was surrounded by blood while at the centre laid the dead body. An unidentified body. Shreya and I, (who are detectives) were called at this horrifying crime scene.

We tried to find out every single thing before the body was taken to post-mortem. We were surprised. No trace of evidence was left back. It seemed that the one who murdered the person was a very experienced killer.

Finally, the body was taken to a nearby hospital. Shreya and I went out near a garden to discuss this case.

"So, what do you think", said Shreya. "To be honest this case just puzzles me"

"Well, It is a really interesting case. We just now have to wait until the post-mortem report comes out. Maybe then we will get some leads", I said.

As if God just answered our prayers, the doctors informed us that the report came. They were just sending us the copy.

" The victim's name is Paritosh Rathod. He was 24 years of age…"

"Vivek stop. Just repeat the name again?", said Shreya in a confused tone.

"Paritosh Rathod. Why?"

" This name…it sounds familiar. Before we observe the report, can you just ask Rehaan to find out information about him?"

"Sure" I said.

We checked out information about Paritosh. We decided to pay a visit to his college to find any clues.

3 days later :-

"Hello, I am Detective Shreya and this is my partner Vivek. We are here to ask a few questions about Paritosh Rathod.", said Shreya.

"Ask us anything", said one.

"Ok. So did Paritosh have any enemies or was in some relationship?", I said.

"He liked one girl. Tina Deshmukh."

When Shreya heard this name, she turned pale. She quickly said, "Thank you. That's what we needed." With this she dragged me out of the college.

As soon as we were out of earshot. She spoke hurriedly, "This girl Tina had called the CBI at night saying the victims name out loud."

I then, pulled her and tried locating Tina. We called her parents but they said that they had no idea where she was. After the victim's death, she did not answer any calls and did not come home. They were very worried.

Our search operation continued. After a long search, we tracked down the house in which she was staying.

We went to her house and rang the bell. A girl opened door. She said, "Go away, I don't want to talk to anyone. I did not kill him okay?

Shreya said, "Alright. We are not going to question you. We know who killed Paritosh. Let's go to the backyard so I can explain"

With a jolt I understood everything. As soon as the girl agreed and went with her, I barged into the house. I searched here and there. Finally, I found a letter addressed to Tina hidden under a wooden cabinet. No one but a detective could have seen this. I tore it open and saw :
