Sun was about to set in the forest. John was piling up the woods for a campfire. Vikram and Natasha were preparing for cooking the food. The cool breeze was blowing and the nocturnals began to fly in the sky.

John was an engineer in a Pvt firm and Natasha was his girlfriend. She was the daughter of a local shopkeeper in Goodridge town in America. John is the son of a former in Goodridge town. The town is famous for its jungle and natural beauty.

Vikram was John's friend and a salesman by profession. The spot of camping was about fifty miles away from their hometown. The spot was famous for its natural beauty. John was a nature lover and camping on the spot was his idea. John had a plan to marry Natasha this year. Both had been in love for the last two years.

Dinner was ready by eight o'clock and they took their Dinner in light of the campfire. After dinner, Vikram set a coffee pot on the campfire and began to sing his favorite song. He was a good singer. Natasha and John were enjoying the song and the cool breeze. The sky was clear of clouds and full of stars. Those who fall in love like to listen to romantic songs. Natasha liked the song being sung by Vikram and she began to murmur the song. Murmuring the song she looked up in the sky and found a shooting star. Seeing the shooting star she stopped singing and closed her eyes and clasped her hands and began to wish upon it. John looked at her and smiled. He knows what she was wishing for. Just then Vikram completed his song.

Coffee was ready. Natasha filled the cups with coffee and served them. The jungle was sounding with chirping, buzzing, hooting, and howling. Vikram was gazing at the stars. His eyes fell on a bright and white thing that was moving down rapidly. He said, "look, there is a shooting star. And he pointed to that thing.

Johan and Natasha look in the direction. Natasha said, "no, it is not a shooting star. It is an airplane or a drone."

"No it is a shooting star," Vikram opposed.

Johan observed that thing for some moments. Now that bright thing was moving straight in the north direction. The speed was slow and all of a sudden that bright thing changed its direction and began to move up towards the west. Seeing this movement, he said, "it changed its direction, if it is a shooting star why is it going upward? It can not be a shooting star." They were seeing that object going away. Within a few moments, the object was lost in the sky.

John said, "it might be a drone, balloon, or a small airplane."

After this brief discussion, they finished up their coffee. Vikram wished them goodnight and went to his tent to sleep which was about five or six meters away from the tent of John and Natasha. John and Natasha were sharing a single tent. The tent was big enough to accommodate two people.

Vikram is fond of reading books. He used to read books before sleeping. He lie down in his sleeping bag and opened a thriller novel and began to read in the light of a lamp.

Natasha and John remain out near the campfire. She put her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes. He put his hand on her shoulder. Another shooting star caught their attention. They looked at that shooting star till it disappeared into the dark of the jungle.

They remain there for about half an hour planning their wedding and honeymoon. When they enter their tent, Natasha was in a romantic mood. She hugged him and began to kiss him. Soon they were lost in their world of romance and love oblivious of what was about to come in their life. The campfire was going faint.

Here in the deep jungle about a mile away from the campsite, two wolves were howling rising their head towards the sky. An owl was hooting hiding somewhere. All of a sudden, a bright white-colored thing appeared high in the sky and began to move down swiftly. Within seconds it was hovering above the wolves. Seeing this the wolves stopped howling and run away from the spot. The hooting ceased. That was no sound in the jungle except the sound of the hovering of that bright object. That bright object landed on the earth.

Here in the camp John, Natasha and Vikram were sleeping in their camp. After midnight Vikram's sleep was broken and he found that white light was coming into his tent through the tick cloth of the tent from outside. There was something out of the tent which was emitting the white light. For a moment a curiosity to know what is outside the tent came into his mind but the next moment a strong desire to sleep came into his mind and being overcome by this strong desire, he closed his eyes and soon plunged into a deep sleep. The same happened with John, he, too, awoke and found that white light was coming through the cloth of the tent. He wanted to go out and see but he was overcome by a strong desire to sleep and he fall into deep sleep oblivious of what was going on outside.

But the same didn't happen to Natasha. When John awoke in the morning, he found Natasha was not in the tent. He came out to see her but didn't find her. He went to Vikram's tent but she was not there. After waiting for some time, both John and Vikram began to search for her in the jungle calling her name loudly but she was nowhere. By noon they reported the matter to the police. Police came and began a search operation. The search operation lasted two days but Natasha could not be found.

Natasha's parents blamed John for killing and burying her somewhere. They demanded that the police should arrest John and Vikram.

John was upset. His heart was broken. He carried on search for her. Fifteen days passed. Everybody including John lost hope for Natasha's being alive.

One evening, Natasha's father phoned John and told him that Natasha had returned home. Hearing this news he was happy and immediately rushed to her home to meet her.

When John reached her home, he found a police officer questioning her about her missing. She was unable to tell how she got missed and where she was for such a long time. Since she returned home unhurt and she did not hold anyone responsible for her missing, the officer closed the case.

After two days, they met in a park. Natasha was looking pale but she was happy. John wanted to know all about her missing. He said to her, "I want to know all about your missing. You can tell me without any hesitation and fear. I love you and I am your husband-to-be. "

She said to him, "that night I was sleeping in deep sleep. All of a sudden I awoke and found the camp was filled with white light. The source of light was somewhere out of the camp. I tried to wake you but you were sleeping as if you were unconscious. I felt someone was calling me. I should have not gone out but a strong curiosity arose in me and I went out. When I came out of the camp, my eyes were dazzled by bright light. I don't know what happened after this. I swear to God." Saying so she got silent.

Hearing this he began to think. He knew very well that he also awoke and found white light in the tent that night. He said to her, "this means someone use a bright light to dazzle you and then kidnapped you."

She said, "no it is not so. If someone kidnapped me, he demanded ransom or he would hurt me, or misbehave me. But nothing happened to me."

John asked, "where were you for such a long time?"

She replied, "I don't know."

He said, "you know but you don't want to tell me."

She said, "believe me. I am telling truth."

The next day he went to Vikram and told him what had happened to Natasha that night.

"I also saw the white light in my camp. I want to go out and saw what the matter is but a strong desire to sleep prevented me from going out and after that, I plunged into a deep sleep, " Vikram said with surprise.

John remained silent and thought for a while and then said, "one thing is common to all of us three in that night. The thing is the white light."

Vikram said, "and a strong desire to sleep is common to us both in that night." He paused for a moment and then said, "and I would like to say that I have never slept in so deep sleep as that night."

John said, "something strange happened that night in the camp. She doesn't know what happened after coming out of the tent."

In the evening, Natasha came home to meet John. She was happy. She hugged him and said, "I am going to be a mother. I am pregnant." He became happy hearing good news.

They got married next month. They were happy and expecting a healthy baby. One day Natasha visited a doctor for a medical checkup. After sonography, the doctor told her a shocking fact about the baby. As per the report of the doctor, the child was not normal. The doctor suggested her abortion. Hearing this she was sad.

John was upset hearing that the baby will not be a normal child. He suggested, "you must go for an abortion. I don't want to be a father of a deformed child."

But she wanted to give birth to this child. She was against abortion. Her parents also wanted her to give birth to the child instead of abortion. John loved her and didn't want to hurt her feelings. So he didn't say to her again about abortion.

That evening Natasha was alone at home. John was out of the city and her parents were attending a wedding ceremony at church. She was cooking dinner for her. Sun had set. The window of the kitchen was open. All of a sudden she heard a strange noise near the window and she looked towards the window. What she saw was scary enough to frighten her. She began to shriek in fear and run away from the kitchen to the bedroom. Just then, the doorbell rang. She got confused hearing the ring. She began to think whether she should open the door or not. She was shivering with fear. The doorbell rang again. After one or two minutes she heard the sound of her father. He was calling her to open the door.

She opened the door and began to cry "Daddy, daddy, there is a scary thing there near the window of the kitchen. It looks like a monster having big round eyes and green-colored skin."

Her father looked at her and found her shivering with fear. He got alert and asked, " what? Monster-like!" Without waiting for her answer, he went to the kitchen. She went behind him. They entered the kitchen. She pointed at the window and said with excitement, "he was standing out near the window and was peeping in." Her father took out a torch from his pocket and went to the window and looked out in the light of the torch and found nothing. He said, "nobody is here." And he closed the Window.

"But daddy I saw one. It was very dreadful. It was a monster," she said.

He said, "that is just your delusion. Go to bed and try to sleep."

She dreamt many dreams that night. Some were pleasant and some were scary. She saw a monster in a dream that was calling her. The monster with big round eyes, a thin body, and green-colored skin.

"These dreams are a bad omen," her mother said to her when she told her about these dreams the next day. Her mother took her to the church. She prayed for the well-being of her family. But she still dreamt.

The time was passing. As per medical reports, the growth of the embryo was more than usual. A doctor declared that the child could take birth just in five months.

The doctor was right. In the fifth month, after intense labor pain, she gave birth to the child. It was a girl child. The child was quite different. The child was healthy.

She began to scream with fear when she saw the child for the first time. The child was similar to the monster-like she had seen in her dreams.

John did not want to see the face of the child. Well-wishers and relatives suggested leaving the child in the jungle or killing it. Natasha was her mother, she had the heart of the mother. She couldn't leave her child or kill her child. She decided to bring up the child.

She along with the child shifted from the town to a small village. This village had a few houses in the name of population. Her father had a farmhouse in this village. Here Natasha could bring up her child away from the eyes of society. She named the child Ina

John used to come to this village once or twice a month to see his family. Ina had a fast growth rate and had more IQ than normal children. Very soon at the age of just three months, she began to speak clearly. Natasha always kept Ina away from the eyes of the villagers in a room having no window. She was happy with her Ina.

Time passed and Ina was now one year old. One night, when Natasha was feeding Ina in her room. The window was open. It was a dark moonless night. All of a sudden Ina said, "look there mom" saying this Ina pointed towards the sky with her hands. She looked up at the sky through the window. She saw some bright white objects coming down towards the home. Within a few moments, these objects landed in front of her home. The light was so bright that her home was filled with light.

This bright white light brought back the memory of that night in the camp in the jungle when she had got missing from the camp. A cold shiver ran down her spine. She got petrified for some moments but soon the thought of the child's safety came into her mind and she ran to protect her child from this white light. She quickly closed the window. Pick up Ina and ran to the basement to hide her. Entering the basement she closed the door. She could hear the sound of breaking the door. Someone above was breaking the door. She cringed in a corner of the basement with the child. The door was broken. She heard the heavy footfall coming towards the basement. She began to shiver with fear. Ina began to cry. The footfall stopped at the door of the basement. All of a sudden, strange sounds began to come from above the basement. The sounds were as if someone were calling. Hearing these sounds Ina stopped crying and began to look at the door of the basement. After hearing these sounds for some minutes, the child began to make these strange sounds as if giving a reply to the call. All of a sudden with a loud thud, the door of the basement opened, and a large creature jumped down and moved toward Natasha. Now Natasha and that creature were face to face. The creature looks the same as she had seen in her dreams and the same as she had seen in the windows of her kitchen. Natasha got petrified seeing this creature. The creature spread his hands toward Ina and said something in a strange language.

Ina, too, spread her hands, and the creature took into his lap. The child began to smile. The creature said, "we have come to take it with us."

And the creature turned and moved out of the basement. Natasha ran behind the creature.

The creature was going towards the bright white light. Natasha began to throw stones at the creature. She was calling loudly for help but nobody was available in this desolate area to help her.

Just then a car stopped near her and John jumped out of the car and fired a gunshot at that creature. But the creature dodged it. With a long jump, the creature was inside the capsule-like flying object. The object began to illuminate with bright white bright light. John again fired a gunshot but the shot disappeared into the bright white light without hurting it. And the object began to move upward at a great speed. Natasha and John were looking up at the object. Within a few seconds, the object disappeared into the deep sky.

John said, "let's forget all that happen, Ina now will live among its kind of people. It would be better for her."

He put his hand on her shoulder and said, "let's start life afresh."

The next day left the village and moved to the town. The media was broadcasting the news of a UFO sighting near the village and Goodbridge.
