Swami Vivekananda and target shooting

While in USA, Swami Vivekananda saw some boys standing on the bridge and trying to shoot eggshells that were floating in the water. They failed almost every time with only rarely hitting the target.

Swami Vivekananda who was watching them from a distance went close to them and asked if he could have a try at it.

He took the gun and fired twelve times, and every single time that he fired, he hit the eggshell!

 The boys were naturally in awe of Swami Vivekananda and asked him that how could he aim so well!

 He replied that whatever they are doing they should put their whole mind on it. For instance when they were shooting they should only concentrate on shooting the target.They should not think of anything else at that time. Then they would never miss! If they are learning their lessons, then they should only think of the lesson and not about playing or something else. 

Thus Swami Vivekananda explained the power of concentration!
