I met Rithvik in my first year of college. He was my senior and a key member of the student council. He was the son of a local politician and was expected to succeed his father at the party. The student council elections were a stepping stone for his political career. I forgot to mention that he was extremely good looking and all the girls in my batch had a crush on him, except me or that's what I thought. I never wanted to be around anyone even remotely connected to politics.

As luck would have it, I fell hook, line, and sinker for someone who was a political scion in the making.
