Selfless Love

It was 6 A.M. when my phone alarm rang, unwillingly I got up to get ready for my office. As soon as I brushed my teeth I realized that it was Sunday, I again went to my bed but was unable to sleep, so I called my parents on WhatsApp video call in Delhi. By the way currently I live in Chennai. Actually I pursued by B.Tech degree from Chennai college & got campus placement here, so for the past 7 years I have been here in Chennai, alone!

Dad picked up the call, both mom & dad were enjoying morning tea. We talked about family stuff like who is getting married, who got blessed with baby etc. Suddenly I noticed my dad's hands were shivering while he was drinking tea in that white printed cup. No he was not at all ill. That was the moment when I realized that he got old & it was my turn to take care of him, like he cared for us all his life by working in a small 6X6 Paan (betel) shop for 60 continuous years. Instantly my face became dull after seeing his condition, for a moment there was complete silence on both sides of the screen, my father broke that silence with 'Son, do your job, study hard for your post graduation entrance exam, eat nicely & don't do cost cutting, I am already saving money for your higher studies, Still I have immense strength in me to take care of my whole family'.
