Rakesh and three thieves

Rakesh is a teenager who studies in class X. He has a dog named Ruff. His parents and one younger sister complete his family.

One night his parents and sister had gone to his relatives' place for a function for two days. Rakesh opted out of it due to an exam the day after.

Rakesh gave food to Ruff and started studying his subject. That night at around 12 am Ruff snuffed something unusual. He called Rakesh. When he quietly went near the window, he saw three thieves trying to enter the house.

Rakesh was a witty boy. He quickly alerted the police and informed his immediate neighbours, Sharma family, to be prepared if the thieves try to run away!

Just then, one of the thieves, successfully unlocked the main door with a duplicate key and entered into the house. Rakesh had spilled oil in the drawing room after making the room dark. When the three thieves entered into the room, and had just gone little distance, that all fell down with noise due to the oil.

Around that time the police reached the spot. Seeing the police the thieves tried to flee, but all were nabbed.

Rakesh was congratulated by the police and promised a reward and a medal by the inspector.
