“Where is my Power Bank, Mumma? Please find it for me. I am getting late.” “Everyday you do the same thing, Deveshi! You keep your Power Bank anywhere and then begin to search somewhere else. How can you get it in time?. Do you remember yesterday you kept it on the top of Aquarium in Drawing room?. And today here it is near the flower pot, Deveshi, for God sake grow up.” Prof. Kumar said with little stress.“Oh, my dearest mother!” Deveshi came and smilingly hugged her tightly and said, “Mumma! Actually, you are my Power Bank. Do you want to know how? See! I get recharged whenever I embrace you. Mumma!! You don't realise that when I hug you in winter I get warmth like a blanket, when I hug you in summer I feel breeze, when I hug you in rainy season I immediately get wrapped within a flowery-velvet raincoat, your hug makes me feel on the top of the hill whenever I go getting down, when I hug you to run away from my loneliness your affectionate arms communicate that I need not anyone to share myself as I am a self-sufficient girl and most importantly I wish to disclose today that after being declared a failure by the world, whenever I reach you to hide myself under your chest, your heart-beats convey to my heart that I owe to a different world and I must design my success my way.”

“Oh! My darling baby! Have you really grown up? Today I can’t believe that my techno-savvy software engineer daughter keeps so sensitive heart. I am always for you Deveshi.” Prof. Kumar exclaimed with tearful eyes to her twenty-three-year-old daughter, who is the only person in this world for whom she is struggling here since the last thirteen years. For a moment, she went in a flashback where she got fed up with unlimited expectations of her husband and family. All the limit was crossed the day when her husband clearly told her while she needed him badly due to her extreme physical weakness, ‘you are an earning woman. You should not need my assistance just going to the hospital and don't create any sentimental block in my world business trip.’ That was the day when a turning point took place in her life when Prof.Kumar left her husband and settled in another corner of the city along with her ten-year-old Deveshi.

“Where have you gone, Mumma? Please come back. I am under your arms. “Oh !Yeah, I might be your Power Bank, Deveshi but you are my lifetime asset. You are my inner power and I fully bank upon you, my child.” Now, this was the turn of Prof. Kumar, who embraced her daughter closely and firmly like a pearl by covering from both of her palms. And Deveshi is now getting relaxed with tranquillity.

Message - Hugging has tremendous value to share the feelings from the bottom of one’s heart. Getting hugged by someone special is equal to say now one needs nothing else.
