Padu And Me

Dear Diary,

This writes up is dedicated to my best friend Page. She and I have been soulmates from the time we were born. We were neighbors and family friends and from the time we could walk and talk we became best friends. The bond that we have is so strong that we do not have any wants and needs between us.

I discovered true love throughout our friendship. We say that if the person meets certain criteria then that person is considered our friend, right? But from my friendship with her I realized that where there are criteria and should and shouldn't s, there is no love or friendship. It is pure business.

From my own experience, I realize that true Friendship is not about possessing and owning but total freedom to be yourself and express yourself as you are. It is to be a strong pillar supporting the other person and wishing well for the other person all along. I do not remember one day when we spoke rudely with each other. It's not that we did not get upset with each other but we knew how to put it across to each other so that we were heard and understood. This further strengthened our friendship.

I am so thankful to you dearest Padu. Wish you the best always, now and forever! I am so grateful to God that he gave me an angel as my best friend. Don't you wish you had such a friendship too?!! I would love to hear if you have such a true friend as well.
