My Hero: A Legal Alien
My Hero: A Legal Alien
Sometime in the late 19th century there was an alien, living its life normally with name Statra Brfoxie . Before starting about the talks and later some heroic acts of this creature , let me give you a clarity here that the meaning or relation of this “alien” is nothing to do with the Extraterrestrial being, which colloquially or informally means the creatures outside the earth and they have no relation at all. So, please pull the reins on your running horses of imagination, if rushing in that direction which I suppose had already started giving you a picture of ET from “ET: The extra Terrestrial” or baddies from “The independence Day”.
Mr Brfoxie was an alien by law , means, not having a citizenship or nationality of the country he was living in the present time( please Google it if wants to know more about it). Our alien was a natural human being who was very kind heart in nature, smart and intelligent in the work of building construction, working as a civil engineer in a decent construction company .
Statra was originally from Budapestt , Hungarry, had a good logical and thinking ability but what makes him special or challenged or specially challenged or differently able or Handicapped (I leave it to you, as with what adjective you want to call him from these, after knowing his disability).
Whenever it comes to lying, a fog type phenomenon started building in his mind, as if something start to oozing out from both his heart and mind simultaneously and a severe pain started there .As if in his Mind or more precisely say , in his heart that thread or technically saying that vein is missing which instructs the whole body about the procedure of lying. . When this was happened for the first time, nobody in the family could understand the reason , first the doctors thought it is some kind of food allergy but later statra himself understood the pattern that whenever he tells a matter or a thing which he knew in his heart that it is not true but said because of fear or greediness, these drastic changes started to happen in his body and until or unless he says the truth to the concerned person it grows more and more. He took it as a sign from God and Since then he promised to himself that he will not tell a single lie, whatever be the drastic consequences he has to face for saying the truth but he will not say any lie from then.
So, the world exactly meet up to his expectations about the consequences for his promise to himself and with the word DRASTIC ,I mean it with Every single ALPHABET of it. There were times when nobody from his family or friends talked to him due to this “DISEASE” of saying the truth but he kept on his promise and did not give up.
He passed his schooling and then college with flying colors . He was appointed as the Assistant Engineer in Irrigation Department of his Country. In his job, What made him different from his colleagues was is his knowledge about land, architecture but his honesty, carrying the people along of the country with integrity, which gradually turning into leadership quality and soon he becomes a darling for the common people and I think because of these type of Civil Engineers, Civil Engineering is considered to be the perfect blend of art and nobleness using Earthy materials.
But ……….
Due to his “PROBLEM” of not lying , he soon become a piece of thorn in some of the corrupted higher ranked officer’s eyes in department so, after playing some political games, they proved him corrupted and disloyal before the king and thus ,was ordered to be deported from his own country .
The country in which he was born, lived his childhood days, took all the knowledge about civil engineering, learnt the skills of construction of water bodies and other monuments, was kicked out from there in a moment .
He understood at that moment that he have to live his life without his family because his decision of not lying, which was taken in childhood, his family should not suffer .
So, statra came to this land whose Governor , after hearing his story and seeing his genius skills of engineering , gave him permission to live with dignity and also appoint him as the Assistant Engineer of a primary site of the territory where the expansion of seven centuries old dam’s work was happening, which was actually built during the Roman Empire. He was very grateful to the governor as when no one in the world believed him and when there was no place to live , the governor gave him so much respect and all the necessary things to live a normal life.
Statra promised him that he will be loyal to him throughout his life
Statra started to live peacefully there as there was no middleman involved in his work. He directly report to the emperor of that region about his work. One day the Emperor called him with the map of Dam . After discussing some routine things about the work , the king ask about the villages which are coming in the way of expanding the dam. Statra replied with a smile that this is not a problem. We can send somebody as your representative and after explaining all the things and development of the nation and off course offer them their deserved compensation for their land and shift them to a similar land we can continue in our project. The king asked him if he can go to these villages as his representative and talk to these villagers and give them their compensation because out of all his officers he trusts him more and has full faith on him that he will not do any type of injustice with these villagers about the compensation and other things. Statra suggest a beautiful piece of land where the land was fully fertile and the opportunity for business to other territories was also in abundant.
This was the time I saw Mr. Brfoxie when he came to our village to convince the people to take the same area of land at the other side of the town because the land of the village was coming in the way of the expansion of dam and other than land, a good amount of money as compensation was offered for leaving their land on which we were living for past twenty years. Mr statra with his truthful eyes and heavy voice with affinity addressed the villagers that It is in nation’s interest and will prove to be a prominent step in the development of our country and this expansion of dam will be very fruitful in the future for the people of the country etc.. and like this total fifteen villages were evacuated and transferred to other part of city where they were promised to be fully helped by the government in setting up their lives at the new place. He lived with us in our village for forty five days .
He became friends with all the village people. He told them about the part of land on which they will be transferred from here. The villagers had heard about the land and knew it was equally fertile. After each passing day the trust of villagers on him increase gradually
It was the best time of his life also as the people there were exactly like him , innocent and truthful. This was the first time in his life he does not feel different . He felt normal for the first time in his life. Just like animals, human beings also wants to live in a herd or group but the cunningness, selfishness type feelings restricts him to live his natural life but now his search of “His herd” was finally over and he got his HOME and his family to live for his entire life. The people also gave him so much love and treated him as their own family member. The blessings of elders, play with children in evening, enjoying the meals with them . He could not ask more from God and was overwhelmed. He took a leave from the villagers after taking permission from them and told them that government people will come and guide them about the land where they will be transferred. After completion of this project he would return to them to live with them permanently.
Everything was looking hunky –dory at that time to him but no body of our colony knew it was the calmness before the storm .
The Emperor of that area wanted to impose its own religion throughout its domains, this decision of governor created dispute among all the colonies and territories of that area and resulted in full scale conflict which obviously causes war which in its early stage only estimated seven million deaths but he could not touch these fifteen villages because of some old rules and regulations formed by the previous kings.
The Governor was the mastermind of this whole plot of expansion of dam, AS actually there was no work of expansion of dam was happening. He had tried all his ways to convert all the people of his domain to his religion and follow only his religions principles but all goes in vain in front of the determination of these fifteen villages people. Due to old rules and regulations which can’t be change in any circumstances by any king which states that any person without his wish cannot be removed from his land and this rule cannot be removed .
For showing his cruelness on them he need to make them shift on a barren land as the land of that area was so much fertile and is the main reason for the blossomless of the lives of these people.
So, when he saw Statra, saw truth in his eyes and thought that if his evil eyes could recognize the innocence and truth in statra’s eyes then those people would surely falls into the trap so he decide to play with the truth
The Law and regulation orders that all the departments of irrigation must obtain a prior written consent from Commander in chief of war or chief secretary of the concerned department before supplying water to any of the persons who are against the governor’s decision and if any person found out to be violating the rules and regulations set by governor or not accepting the religious beliefs and principles of that particular religion had to face the imprisonment for ten years and any officer deliberately giving false information about supplying of water or about any material fact would be given a hard imprisonment for lifetime. While taking the leave from Budapest, the only promise my grandfather took from my father and all other persons of our village that whatever happens next in their lives, what work will they do for the livelihood of them and their family is totally on them but the beliefs and principles of their religion which their ancestors were following from hundreds of years , they will follow and also take it and continue with the next generations also because our beliefs and principles made us what we are and is the identification of us. This was the promise taken by my grandfather from my father and same by my father from me.
So to worship our God according to our beliefs and principles All the people of that fifteen villages who were against the government, after selling their land to government were transferred to a colony which was the war-land of the country which means all the wars in that country fought on that particular land for the last thirty years , and because of the greediness of the emperor, in every year or two, a war fought there and because of that, the land becomes completely barren there.
The soldiers were deployed around the colony so that no one can be out until they accept the conditions of governor.
Now these people had no choice left but to accept the religion of emperor because without food and water it was become impossible for them to survive but they were so determined people that for keeping their beliefs and principles they can even give their life for keeping their promise to their ancestors but ……
the worse part of that was , they could not see their children dying in front of them because of thirst and hunger. The people have both in their hearts for statra as they were in this misconception that the whole plotting of this intrigue is done by him.
The Governor and Emperor told that the expansion of dam project is handed to other officers and put so much other work on statra that he can’t returned to go to the villagers and was living in this misconception that they are living a peaceful and happy life in their new homes.
After three months.....
