MURDER AT THE FARMHOUSE

Once upon a time,+ there lived two best friends named Ramesh and Mahesh. They were very fond of each other and so decided to get their kids married once they grew up. In Ramesh's family there was his daughter - Kavya, his son - Deepak and his wife - Krupali whereas Mahesh had only a son named Karan and his wife - Saarika. And finally as soon as they grew up they were married. They both were living happily as they knew each other from childhood.

One day, Saarika decided to call Ramesh's family home for dinner as it was quite a long time their families had met. And there they decided to send Kavya and Karan for a short vacation to their farmhouse in Chandigarh. Kavya agreed to go wherever her in-laws decided as she was a very sober and straightforward girl whereas her brother, Deepak was completely opposite to her. He was a very greedy and money-minded person. He always had an eye on Kavya's in-laws money. So Deepak also wanted to join them but Krupali refused to let him go. And she therefore immediately informed Kavya about it.

So to avoid any more stress, that Kavya was going to leave for her parents, she thought of a plan. Her parents were supposed to meet her a last time before she left. They were going to come a day before she was going but now she cancelled the flight tickets of Wednesday and she rather made it for Tuesday night as Deepak was not there at home on that day instead he was supposed to come on Wednesday morning. So, Kavya called her parents at Tuesday evening and then they left for Chandigarh. As expected, on returning Deepak made a mountain out of a molehill. He shouted and screamed at his parents for doing so. And then he too left for Chandigarh. As soon as he left, Krupali called up Kavya and narrated her everything that happened.

Karan wanted to avoid any more arguments and so decided to drive to Shimla for giving an excuse that they had gone there for a business conference of 7 days. When Deepak arrived he questioned the staff of the farmhouse where Kavya and Karan was. The staff told them according to the instructions given by Karan. And also Karan instructed his staff to let Deepak stay here as long as he wished to and let him do whatever he wanted to. So taking advantage of Karan's liberty, Deepak called all his friends to Chandigarh to throw a grand party.

There Kavya and Karan actually got a call from the office saying that there was a business conference in Shimla for 7 days. On the other hand, Deepak had arranged for a party in the farmhouse without informing Karan or Kavya. All his friends had arrived. In the party, Deepak proposed Roshni, one of his childhood friends. But she rejected him. And getting frustrated by all this, Deepak kept drinking alcohol the whole night, so he was over drunk.

In the morning when he came out of his room, he was shocked to see Roshni's body lying lifeless in the next room. The only thing came out of his mouth was scream. Everyone immediately rushed where the scream came from and cops were called the next moment. The police came and the investigation began. Everyone was questioned separately on what had happened the previous night. All they said was the proposal of Deepak and Roshni's rejection. So, the direct suspect was Deepak. But Deepak was so scared that he ran away from there and this made police sure that the killer was Deepak. The owner of the farmhouse that was Karan was called back to Chandigarh. Karan told everything to Kavya asking her to handle the conference and soon left for Chandigarh.

There, on the other hand, Deepak reaches a hotel in Shimla unknowingly that the hotel was of Karan. And in the same hotel, Karan and Kavya were staying for the conference. Accidentally Kavya saw him in the hotel and started questioning him about how he came here when the police were searching for him. She even told him that she would take him straight to the police. But then Deepak narrated her the entire story and convinced her to help him fo prove his innocence. Kavya on hearing couldn't believe him but slowly she started believing him as and when he continued and finally she believed him. And agreed to help him.

Soon after an hour, she left for the conference and as soon as she entered the room she was speechless on seeing Roshni sitting on one of the chairs in the conference room. At that time she didn't utter a word, but as soon as the meeting was over, she started following her wherever she was heading to. At last when she stopped in front of an old - fashioned house whose walls had faded brown colour making it look like it was built a twenty or twenty-five years ago. The girl suddenly looked back and was shocked to see Kavya standing back. Kavya came straight to the point by not beating around the bush. The girl in turn first introduced herself by saying the name which was Raashi and then she told her that she was living there since her childhood.

First Kavya couldn't believe what she was saying but then when Raashi switches her company's ID card, she started believing what Raashi was saying. After Raashi completed her end of the story, Kavya narrated what happened in the farmhouse and asked her if she could help her out in this. Raashi agreed. So, the plan was that Raashi was going to go to Chandigarh secretly by taking a leave from the office. The excuse for the leave was supposed to be that she was going to Chandigarh as her uncle was unwell and there was no one who could look after him. And when Kavya heard Raashi talking to her uncle, she had decided to help her by letting her stay in her farmhouse and give her some money for the treatment.

As going according to her plan Raashi left for Chandigarh and went straight to the farmhouse. While she was investigating in the room where Roshni was staying, she gets caught by some of Deepak's friends. Then the police arrive and Raashi immediately calls Kavya to Chandigarh. Here Karan returns to Shimla and then gets to know that Kavya had gone to Chandigarh. Kavya rushes to Chandigarh and then Deepak gets arrested on the basis of suspicion. But before he gets arrested Kavya requests the police to just once have a look in the CCTV cameras. While they were going through the clips, they find a man killing Roshni in the corridor and then wiping away all the bloodstains and proofs against him. They then zoomed on the man, though they weren't able to see his face they saw a tattoo on his left hand and confirmed that the man was having a tattoo on his hand and was a lefty.

Out of all this, one thing which was proven was that Deepak was innocent and so the police didn't put him behind the bars. Instead Kavya thought of a plan to bring out the killer. She leaked out the news that she was going to arrange a big party and was in the need of a caterer. As planned the killer came to the house along with some people claiming to be an owner of a famous catering company. For him to be hired he was supposed to give a free dinner to the family (which was actually Kavya, the Police Inspector and the staff). He did so. And once the dinner was done, the man (killer) went to Roshni's room to search if in case he had left any proof. While he was searching, Raashi comes and scares him by pretending to be a ghost and in fright, everything comes out from his mouth that he killed Roshni and in the last, he says that he was just a killer who was given money to do so whereas the main culprit was someone else.

He was just getting calls from a man. So the inspector asks him to call on the same number from which he was getting calls and asks him to tell the unknown man to give him more money or else he would expose him in front of the police. He does so. And soon the plan works accordingly. The unknown man calls him on the highway to collect the money. The killer goes to collect the money along with police, Kavya and Raashi. As soon as the killer pretends to go from there, a man jumps down from the tree above where the money was kept. Everyone gets shocked to see the person. It was Karan. Immediately everyone rushed towards him to catch him red-handed. Then after a lot of questioning, Karan narrates what exactly happened that night.

That night when Roshni went to the washroom, Karan went into her room and opened a secret room which was going to a secret tunnel in the coal mine where secret smuggling of diamonds was going on. And Roshni saw all that so Karan asked a killer to kill her the same night. After he finishes, the police arrest Karan.

Kavya was a CBI officer and Deepak was an undercover officer and not Kavya's brother. This was all preplanned by Kavya and Deepak as they didn't have proofs against Karan. And that is why Kavya had married Karan. After knowing the truth, Raashi marries Deepak. And they lived happily ever after.
