Memorable Birthday

Tanya reached her front door and fished out her keys from the depths of her bag. As she walked in, she saw huge bouquets of flowers all over her living room, She had no idea how they got there. She saw one bouquet of flowers and saw 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'. Then she heard noises behind her. Before she looked back, a hand gripped her shoulder. She wanted to look back and not look back at the same time. But she finally looked back. It was her friends. She was so happy that no words came out of her mouth and her body also could not express the happiness. They all wished her and at 7pm she cut the cake. It was a surprise for Tanya that none of her friends got her a gift. She didn't ask why because she thought that it wouldn't be nice to ask . At 9pm  they all ate a delicious dinner. Her best friend's name was Alia .

At around 9:30 Alia's mother called Tanya to ask Alia to come home and then Tanya asked Alia to go home because her mother called her. Alia left but after sometime Alia's mother called Tanya and told the most shocking news that she ever heard in this decade. The news was that Alia had still not reached her home. Tanya immediately told this to her friends and everyone started searching for Alia. One of her friends, Steve immediately screamed. Everyone rushed to him and asked what happened? Steve told that he spotted Alia's foot wear near the most haunted house in the town. No one was ready to go but they had to, they entered the house and were sticking to each other like penguins. After sometime Tanya felt that no one was there with her.

Tanya got freaked out, she could hear scary noises around her and when she was about to cry suddenly the lights turned on. She saw her friends laughing at her and with anger she started hitting Alia while she was crying and when she saw gifts in everybody's hand she was so happy as if nothing had even happened. Who's birthday can't be the most memorable one after all this happens?
