Letting Go

It's been so many years since they met and said farewell to each other. Memories subsided as years passed by. Monsoon is over, dark clouds have receded. Now when the rays of the sun find its way through the trees and caress the flowers, she reminisces those days, the days of love. The feeling nurtured and withered and each had been intense.

She noticed that day, the smell of the air, the cooing of the pigeons, the nature of Nature reminded the days when she had been with him. It was a season after the rains when the butterflies started their journey to find nectar. The senses and feelings can combine and subside like memories, it then shows up again when the seasons come. When she experienced the same senses she had the day she was with him, the feelings surfaced. The breeze soothed her now and since they have parted this is what remains. One can experience the love they had, again when the seasons come. She thought how environment mingles with everyone unknowingly and the body can feel the feelings one had at the time of love.

She feels refreshed and noticed how years have passed. It had been a tedious journey for her. It might have been the same for him. What was important for them was each other's well being. The most difficult and better solution that they found out was, only to let go. And they did it without remorse.
