Jungle Mayhem - Part 5

The lady took Mr. Roy along with her. The strange omens forest was very gloomy, shadowy and murky. "May I ask who you are?" Mr. Roy asked. "Oh! Don't worry! I won't harm you!" The lady said sweetly. Mr. Roy decided to go along with her. Both of them walked for a lot of time. Then, they stopped in front of a big tunnel. The tunnel was covered with flowers and leaves. Without any warning, the lady pushed the guide into the tunnel, and he fell down and down and down and down..........SPLASH!! Mr. Roy fell into a pond! "Why did you push me in?!!!" Mr. Roy shouted. "Hahahah! I think your parents never told you not to take help from strangers! And I am Madame Strange Omens. The owner and creator of this forest!! Hahahahahha!!" She snorted.

Mr. Roy sneezed uncontrollably. Achooo!! Achoooo!! Accchoooo!!

I guess you all should read about my adventure, now. So, as you've already read in the previous part, I was hit by a vase on my head and I'd fainted. I woke up after 2-3 hours when Felix, the rainbow-gnome splashed some droplets of water on my face. "Oh dear! Are you okay? That woman was a real rascal! She stole all the gnomes' treasure! Without it, our world is a total disaster!" she said, worried. "Uh....Where am I?" I said. "Oh yeah.. I remember now, you are Felix, right?" She nodded her head.

I asked her, "So, that evil, vicious and cruel lady stole all your treasure? That's not fair!! Don't worry, you and I will go and get the treasure back!!" "Yes, Rety. That's kind of you, but we need to pass a very murky and spooky forest called TheStrangeOmens forest! It's dangerous, you know." she said. "My name is Reva and not 'Rety'" I corrected her. "That's what I said, Ruli." she said. "It's not Ruli!! It's R-E-V-A, Reva!!" I re-corrected her. "Yes, Restey." she said.

I wanted to smack my head on a wall. Is my name so difficult to pronounce? I mean, it's not as difficult as a tongue twister! It's such a simple name.

"Okay, whatever. So, you were telling something about a forest?" I asked. "Oh yes. There's a forest called as the StrangeOmensForest. And it's super-murky, super-dangerous, super-creepy and super-strange. There's no way but to pass through that place." She told. I wanted to scream, I wanted to shout. Why do I always end up in these strange and crazy situations? "Okay. So, when can we leave?" I asked her. "Let's take rest for some time. After 1-2 hours, we can leave." She suggested. I agreed with her.

I was just sitting and feeling lonely. Even though Julia is a real torturer, she's my friend and I love her. And I missed her a lot. My thoughts we interrupted by Felix, who just burst into my room, and said, "Refl!! I think we should leave."

Uh!! My name was pronounced wrong again! "But, you said we'd leave after 2 hours?" I asked. "Yes, but I just spoke to the astrologer. He said it's necessary to bring the treasure back by today 9:30 pm. It's already 4." she said, worried. So, I nodded my head and we quickly packed all the necessary things.

We decided to meet the astrologer once again. "Hello. Uh.. So, as per your suggestion, we have decided to finally leave. Do we need to take care of some other things too?" I asked. He said, "Hello, child! I am sure Felix might have told you that you're supposed to get the treasure back by 9:30pm. Take care of yourselves, and also plan your actions carefully. I predict that you will have a lot of adventures."

I raised my eyebrows. Felix thanked him, and we set off. "Okay, Rewq, I want to tell you something. The weather in the StrangeOmens forest changes every 2 hours." Felix informed me. My name was AGAIN pronounced wrong!!! But, I just smiled and said, "What?!! Really? The StrangeOmensForest is indeed peculiar and unusual." I observed.

"I took lots of tasty food. So we can at least get some energy and enjoy!" She told me, licking her lips.
