Oh, I can't believe Norah is no more. Oprah was crying, tears in her eyes. The lady police officer comforted her. A few days ago, she and her sister were very happy, as they were visiting India. They had apprised high about a few interesting tales and facts about India, so they planned and came to tour India. Little did they know what will happen to them tomorrow. They first visited Goa, as planned, to their long settled uncle in Goa. On the way back, they hired a taxi. Without noting the number of the taxi, their uncle sent them. The driver Pandu was a despicable character man with sleazy mind; he was obsessed with foreign women. As soon as the siblings got into the car, he called his few dirty friends to his fav spot. "Gori chiknis," he told. He took them in a different path. Though Oprah was suspicious, she questioned him why he is taking them in a different direction, as uncle had told Oprah and Norah right directions earlier. He kept mum for some time and spoke slowly, "It's a short cut, mam." Oprah knew some foul play, so she tried to call her uncle, but she did not get signal there. He took them to a lonely place where his friends were waiting for them. Oprah knew the danger, took her sister along, and started running, but the scoundrels caught her sister, while she freed herself by biting one of the man's hands. She ran and ran until help came. As she returned with the helping man Dinesh, she saw they had left her sister alone. She had bruises on her face, neck, and biting marks on her hand. She was raped and killed. They had strangulated her. Seeing her, Oprah cried, "Norah, oh my god, what's happened to you? Please get up, for God's sake." Then Dinesh helped her take Norah's body to the police station, and she lodged a complaint. Sketches were made of criminals' faces, told by Oprah. Intelligent hard working  police officers caught them, as depicted in the sketches. Police officers whipped them black and blue. Police officer said, "Because of you people, India's name is destroyed. Foreigners are afraid to come. How will our tourism improve, and how will the world know about country's greatness?" They beat the criminals hard, and Oprah witnessed this. Then they were sentenced to death penalty. Oprah was relieved, still she missed her sister. She said thoughtfully: "What we thought about India and what happened." So officer said, "Please don't blame India, mam. There are good and bad people everywhere. It's just bad luck, and your uncle should have checked the driver's ID card before sending you in the taxi. Even in your places, so many untoward incidents take place. I am not justifying, but telling you my opinion." Oprah agreed, nodding her head. "At least judgement served," she thought, and Norah's spirit is free now, not burdened with revenge. She stayed in India to learn spirituality and to walk in that path, and prayed for Norah's spirit mukthi.
