In A Blink Of Seconds

Eyes, to which we assume as the light to every thing, sometimes turn out to the dark for one.

We never know how in just a second it can turn your bright days to dark nights.

It's just a matter of a blink, a blink that can change your world upside down.

We see a lot of things, which we can contribute to making your future too and for sometimes destroying too.

My eyes were to light to my bright future until I met an accident.

An accident... which changed my life.

From bright colorful world too dark scary night.

From building bridges to searching a hope of flight,

From running in hiding and seek too wandering where the starings fit right.

From jumping on bed too making learning how to sit a corner right.

These eyes changed a lot in my mind.

From a free bird, I was a caged bride.

From a soul, I was trapped now by my own mind.

My dreams my wishes my life everything seemed to turn into black room.

My life was now a suffocating dream for me.

I wanted to shout, complain, cry and yell every one that why had they left me dying on road. If that day they had just gave a helping hand and had admitted me to a hospital I would have my eyes live.

I don't remember much but some small pieces of that day are still colorful in my mind.

I was with my friend on a scooty, gossiping about our future planning.

What we will do after graduation, where will we go, what all we will do, what places we will go on trips, this that etc.

Half the distance from our house we were at a traffic stop.

The signal went yellow, my friend on the scooty,

Now the signal turned green she started and moved forward, suddenly we felt a sudden jerk towards our right and we were on the road.

A red coloured car smashed our scooty headlights, and we along the scooty turned to the left again we were hit by a car and we again go turned by that, I got separated from the scooty and had hit my head with a stone and the broken fence piece hit in my eyes.

My friend was badly injured and she died at the spot.

All of the public instead of calling an ambulance or rushing us to the hospital were busy shooting videos and calling media.

Was calling media at the time important or rushing us to the hospital was?

After badly being crying in pain and feeling died every single second a person or an angel arrived who took us in his car and admitted in the hospital.

I could sense half I was on a stretcher; people were around me and I was half alive half dead.

After one month when I was in my sense. I saw my family around me giving hope and I was like please open the bandages I wanna see my self,

Mummy remove these cotton.

Dad, please tell the Dr. to remove the bandages.

And mom where is Seema. Is she fine hows she, she met a hard accident than me.

Mom these bandages are burning me please remove them.

Mom, mom, why aren't you replying me, dad, what happened?

Meera, I'm sorry baccha you can no longer see now,.

I was shocked to listen to this, what are you saying mom have you gone crazy.

I'm all fine please don't joke.

I'm true baby, you cant see now.

And what about Seema mom, where is she.

She's no longer in this world dear. We are sorry we hadn't told you till now buy the Dr.had requested us not to pressurize you.

Dad,, me crying loudly in pain.

That day I lost two precious gifts of God my best friend and my eyes.

It took me a complete 2 years to recover the fact of my disaster.

But after that, I took a look at the hardest face of the world, the face which is not needed in our world but we do have that face.

Face is:- instead of rushing an emergency patient to the hospital to taking videos and photos till they die.

I regret the fact if that day before that person anyone around us had shifted us to hospital immediately my friend would have been alive.

These eyes wanted to see a lot of things but now I feel it's way better instead to see such mean faces around us to be blind and neglect coz people with eyes also act like blind.

They see everything yet acts like blind.

So according to you who are blind, we without eyes or you with eyes ?.

Have a look at it and I request if you ever see such situation of death or alive please for once think that lying person on road can be your family member too so instead of shooting video admit them to a nearby hospital, the new life after an accident can be a gift from your side to them.

Earn respect, wishes, and blessings this will favour you in future than earning money while other is urging in pain.
