Human's Fault
Human's Fault
In the good old days, there was a boy named Figaro who used to love nature. He always took his responsibility towards nature seriously. He watered the plants every day and made sure they get a proper amount of sunlight. Animals were his best friends. He was always friendly with all the animals and even fed the street dogs. Once, on a weekend, he decided to spend his day on a riverside. To his surprise, the river was very adulterate which made Figaro sad. He sat on a bench that was a bit away from the meander. Suddenly, he heard a crying voice. He couldn’t see anyone so, he went a bit beyond the meander. He saw a fish on the bank who was crying. He cordially asked for her name and the reason why she was crying.
The fish sobbed and told her name as Goldie. She said she was crying because she lost her family because of Figaro. Figaro was aghast. He shockingly questioned, “Because of me? How? What did I do? Can I help you?” Goldie wept and said, “I lost my family because of you, the humans. You discharged your domestic, industrial and radioactive waste in the river and polluted the river which caused my family to die. The words of Goldie disturbed Figaro. He promised Goldie that he would help her in some way or the other. He immediately called his friends and told them everything. They all were very sad. Figaro suggested that starting a campaign to clean the polluted river can help Goldie. If the river was cleaned, the other marine creatures will also be out of danger. They named their group as H2O Club. They cleaned the river and soon many other fishes also came to live in that river which provided Goldie with a new family. Goldie was pleased. She thanked Figaro and his friends and happily went back into the river. (
