Amber's Dream

I once had a friend named Amber who always took her studies for granted. She was very careless and never cared to prepare for any of the tests. It was Sunday and we had a test the next day. She was so carefree as usual. The topic of the test was the water cycle. The day showed up. We were handed our question papers and of course, she didn’t know anything so, she slept. We had only one question, “What is Water Cycle?” In her dream, she saw a person who was in the shape of a water droplet. He took Amber with him and showed her the process of the water cycle. He explained to her how water evaporates from the surface of the earth, rises into the atmosphere, cools and condenses into rain or snow in clouds, and falls again to the surface as rain. She woke up to realize she now knew the answer. She completed her test and came out and told everyone about her experience. Since that day she became serious about her studies because she knew she would not dream about the answer always.

Moral: Don’t take anything for granted.
