Hogwarts Diaries

Dear mum and dad,

So, I write down what I do every day in my special diary which my friend, Hermione had gave me on my birthday. I am sitting in the Gryffindor common room and it's almost eleven o'clock at night but still, I will write down today's exciting event. Nothing much happened today, except potions and a defence against the dark arts test and a letter from McGonagall.

It read:

Dear witches and wizards,

I am, a professor McGonagall wants to inform you, that from today no sickles below 100 will be allowed in shops such as sweet shops, shoe shops etc. Only 50 galleons or above will be allowed to be kept in a special vault in Gringotts and last, of all, 10,000 knuts will be considered 1 galleon.

Oh, and i also got a new broomstick (Nimbus 2000) and i'm very happy! So that's what happened today and I have sent this letter through pigwidgeon because both Hedwig and furry wings (my owl) were busy. bye!!
