Hang On, Kevin

This game that we all call "life" is nowhere remotely even close to being easy or simple and I say that because I do not know of anybody that has been dealt a perfect hand. When things become difficult, I know that all that you want is a free pass to make all of the hard shit completely just disappear and somehow be better overnight.

However, the truth is that we do not want this life to be easy. We want and probably even need it to be complicated, confusing and just chaotic. We want to get hurt, heartbroken and frustrated. Please do not forget to see that there truly is real meaning throughout 

every single difficult moment or situation that each one of us not only has already gone through, might be going through at this very moment or most likely will again in the future.   

The hard times that you are facing right now in your life are shaping you. They are also building you and they are even strengthening you, too. 

Even though, these difficult times feel like they could literally tear you apart and knock you right back to where you first started (at the very bottom)... know that they are not.

These difficult times are actually defining your character.

You cannot see the rainbow unless you have already gone through the entire storm.

If you take away all of these negative feelings and situations, then you would not have all of the positive ones.

Times are going to get and be hard as hell... There is simply just no denying that. 'This life will completely knock the fucking wind out of you and then kick you not once but three or four times, even while you are already down on the ground. This life is un- forgiving and has no mercy for any one of us personally, no not even a little bit. You are going to get hurt. You are going to feel like giving up and you are even going to feel and think about going back to your old destructive ways, but we both know that those ways do not lead to better times or things getting better.

When you have just had all that you can take and when you also feel like there is just no more fight or strength left inside of yourself... You have to somehow find a way to continue pushing on through. Remember what it is like to accomplish something brand new; That indescribable feeling that consumes you, breathes life into your soul and it also has the strong ability to even keep you awake all night long.

If you see somebody in need, do not hesitate to help them out if you possibly can, but as you already know, do not ever expect help when you find yourself being the person in need. This world that we live in is about as round as it can get; Things will eventually come back around... Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow or the next day... But it will eventually find its way back around to you, I promise. Please see the light at the end of the tunnel, even when it is so dark that you cannot even see. Believe in the good of other

people, the mystery of life... But Kevin, most of all...
