Fake Friend

Once there was a girl named Charlotte, she was a very kind and cheerful girl. She belonged to a rich and wealthy family. She had moved from Australia to India. In Australia, she had her first best friend. She still kept in touch with her, she used to call her every day. Her name was Camila. It was Charlotte first day at school, she knew no one but hoped to make many friends. When she went to sit with a girl, She asked what her name was, and the girl replied"I am Amelia, nice to meet you. What is your name? asked Amelia. My name is Charlotte, I hope we can be friends. Amelia replied "sure". Charlotte was very happy that she had made her first friend. Days passed on and Amelia came to know that Charlotte belonged to a rich family.

One day Amelia asked Charlotte for some money for her project cause she couldn't afford it. Charlotte agreed to give her the money. But little did Charlotte know that Amelia didn't need it for a project but to buy expensive things for herself. Day by day Amelia started asking for money a lot. She asked Charlotte for money to buy medicines for her mother since she was ill. Charlotte told this to her bestie from Australia. She said that Amelia was just using her for her money. Charlotte thought Amelia was just a good friend so she was defending her. After a while, Camila convinced Charlotte to test if Amelia was really a good person. So she decided to call her mother and ask how was she doing. When she called her mother her mother said she was never sick. After the call, Charlotte was shocked that Amelia had lied about using the money for medicine so she decided to ask her herself.

When she went to ask her she saw her talking to her other friend they were talking about Charlotte. Amelia was saying that she was just using Charlotte for her money. After hearing this Charlotte was heartbroken. She went to confront her.

"How could you do this to me"! , said Charlotte 

"It's not like what you saw".said Amelia 

Save it, I've heard enough.

I hate you so much, I should have listened to Camila.

From that day they never talked to each other. Charlotte soon adjusted to her school and had lots of good friends...
