It was the day Anisha had to choose her credit class course. It was a compulsory extra curricular activity in her college without which a college degree is not possible. Only thing that’s needed to finish this course is 75% attendance. And that was the toughest part mainly because all the classes were conducted on Saturday mornings. Who would like to go to college on Saturday’s? Anisha was not an exception. She somehow managed to get ready for her first credit class.

The games offered for classes were kho kho, basket ball, yoga, cricket and so on. Anisha wondered why yoga was on the list and she knew she would never choose it unless someone registered her name by mistake. She liked the options basketball and cricket but she had no second thoughts in opting for cricket as she always had fantasized bowling. How does the ball move in both ways? How can one bowl in such speed?

She joined the credit class thinking she might get a chance to play for college team. It wouldn’t be that easy for her as she had only played street cricket with local boys and girls as a hobby. Cricket is not a hobby here in India; it can never be, where the crowds cheer for the legends like Sachin as he enter the crease , Sachin…sachin…and for Dhoni, audience wait for the batsman’s wicket to fall just to see him bat.
