Dear Diary,

This is the last working day before a good long weekend.. its Easter here! Nothing much religiously important for me but as we have been living in this country for almost half a decade now, why celebrate as well. Easter is all about good food and wine for us, moreover its a joyful time to celebrate the rebirth of Jesus!.. The best part is every year I receive a chocolate Egg.. a chocolate bar moulded in the shape of eg; called the Easter egg. I have no clue about its significance but I love to snack that - LOL. Also, that there is 4-day holiday forward, lot of things to wind up and tasks to be completed :)

Amidst all this, we also had a teammates 40th to celebrate plus the women in the group thought of having a virtual connect and raising a glass wine !. 40th, Yes- a bit older but an energetic person. There was a beautiful Birthday cake made by his lovely wife, all decked up for the party.. but celebrating being at home. In our virtual connect, we all raised a glass of wine for each other and we shared stories of how we have been doing in these times of crisis!

Otherwise, it was a quite normal day!

Little did anyone know that we gonna end up being isolated for so long!

looking at beautiful weather outside, I was missing my 'Me time at the cafe'..one of my favourite task was to walk up to a cafe, grab a corner seat for myself .. order a skinny cappuccino and write something. Those were the days when I loved meeting people, having hour-long conversations about any topic under the sun .. I reminisce meeting one such friend from New castle. She was tempted to speak to me the moment she saw, is what she told when we met- sigh ! I offered her to join my table and while we shared our coffee time ; she mentioned about her visits to India. The most interesting fact was; she used to visit Goa for two months every year, play guitar by the beach .. earned lots of money to tour a place in India before traveling back to the home country!! Quite a lovely thing to do, isn't it? Have you ever come across any such ??
