Cadet Amit Raj

 We are all wasting time on junk news that is of no value to our community,On December 3 last year, Amit Raj, a cadet from Sainik School, Purulia, heard people shouting in the neighborhood while jogging in Nalanda, his hometown in Bihar. He saw a fire in the apartment next door and went there.Twice without guessing he entered the house to save the 3 children who were trapped inside. He suffered 85% burns while saving the first two children and he decided to save the third child as well.But he was not in a position to save the third child because he had suffered 95% burns. He entered the house to save a third person though. Through his full efforts, all three children were saved.But he was admitted to a nearby hospital with a complete burn. He was later shifted to Sabadarjang Hospital in Delhi. But finally lost his life on 13 December 2020.
