Birthday Party

The story begins with a graceful birthday party of Sohit, a boy of six years. Although the party was over he was very excited to open the gifts. Till now everything was ok, but suddenly Sohit heard a loud voice of a glass breaking from another room. He was disquieted and tried to find out what was happening. Then suddenly he heard the voice of his parents fighting. 

His parents always used to fight for nothing. This time no one told him to go to his room so he was there trying to console his parents but as he was a child of six years he can't do anything and listens to them. 

Suddenly he saw that his father brought a big knife and hit his mother. Sohit was shocked and the mother was dead. Then his father took his dead mother on his shoulder and he threw her in the river. Sohit was seeing everything but not saying a word. 

Three days passed but Sohit was normal, he was not upset with his mother's death. Then his father took the effort and asked him why he was not missing his mother although he was very close to her. Then Sohit replied, " father I'm seeing you; why are you carrying my mother on your shoulder from the past three days?"
