An Unknown Threat

"Amitha was just 20 years old but managed to get a job in one of the best companies. She was a prodigy in her crawling days. She used to be the topper in her school days and when it comes to sports she was a serious competition to her seniors too. But I remember, she always used to feel sad after hearing the comments passed behind her back by several jealous students of our class." 

"Amitha was the only child in her family, and therefore was very loved and pampered by her parents. She was open to her parents and discussed all of her problems with her parents and of course with me, after all I'm her best friend."

"In school days , she was the one who always used to help me with studies no matter how many doubts I had, unlike other rankers who showed their attitude. We studied together , played together and grew up together."

"She never had any fights with anyone nor did she have any enmity with anyone even from the start. In Fact, we just met each other a week ago and she seemed to be very fine. But then I had a visit to her office as a representative from my company in order to form a collaboration with her company. I saw her on her table , she looked very tense and was kind of shivering too , but I didn't have any time to talk to her. But, after I completed my meeting and all the work, I called her up many times, but she wouldn't pick up the call . So I decided to go to her office once again."

"I almost had reached her office , I was just a few meters away when I saw her walking out of the gate. She stood in front of the road, she looked tired and nervous , she then looked left and right deliberately and slowly started walking to her right though her body language clearly showed the panic and urgency. But the unusual factor was that Amitha had kept a fat pen hung onto her formal coat which she never ever kept and she also wasn't carrying her office bag , instead she held a huge green olive bag . And me instead of calling her ,decided to follow her ,without letting her know a thing."

"We walked a few meters and then she went into a giant apartment which was still half completed. It just felt like I was watching a Thriller movie or a serial. She went up to the 11th floor by lift and I followed her up by stairs , making sure she has no clue of me being there ."

"She looked even more tired after holding the heavy bag for this much distance. I saw a man standing near one of the pillars and Amitha headed towards him. Even I hid behind one of the pillars few yards away to get a good view of both of them and stayed quiet, Darkness made me difficult to see the man's face. By now I had started making guesses as to what was going to happen, as I saw in many serials .They then had a small chat and then Amitha suddenly opened the zip of her bag and showered stones over the man and injured him, and then the police followed into the apartment."

"I think this much information is enough for your article , don't you think?"

'Hmm... OK .But you never told me for what and why did Amitha get threatened ? And who was that man?'

"That man threatened to KILL ME and asked Amitha for money to leave me, he worked as a manager in a company which was our competitor. He said that I was responsible for the downfall of his company and so decided to do this. And now I think its time for you to leave, and you dare not ask the pen camera recording , its with the police. And why didn't you ask Amitha about all this, she would have told you better isn't it?"

'She would , but she refused. She told she didn't want any articles to be written on the topic , So I came to you and ya I really think its high time for me to leave uhh... umm... thank you bye.'
