An Odd Experience For Olivia

Olivia was a 13-year old girl with dark blue eyes and very thin and amusing. It was winter. The end of December. On December 31, Olivia and her friends were having a party on the occasion of new year. It was almost midnight. Her friends were at her home. The clock struck 11:00pm. Everyone were partying. The cake arrived after 45 minutes. Olivia exclaimed, 'What a exquisite cake.' Her friends acknowledged with her. Olivia said, 'I don't believe that 2018 is over.' Everyone stared at her in surprise. They laughed and yelled, 'Silly, this is the beginning of 2018! How could it be over?' Olivia gazed in horror. She replied, 'Are you all mad? Don't joke with me. We are in 8th grade now.

Today is December 31 2018. Isn't it?' Her friends were bewildered with her behavior. Suddenly, Olivia's family entered the room shouting 'HAPPY NEW YEAR! 2018!' Olivia could not believe her eyes. Then she remarked to one of her friends, 'Remember how we barbecued in woods.' Her friend seemed to be astounded and replied, 'No did we barbecue?' She turned towards her mom and asked, 'mom do you remember that I was accoladed in school for an essay.' Her mother was completely staggered and snapped, 'no I don't. Olivia was bellowing some of her memories of 2018. But none of them acceded with her. She was shocked. She left the house for some time and went out. There too, she found out that it was beginning of 2018. How could it happen? She was sure that 2018 was over. But.. but.. no one agreed with her. She was horrified when a car suddenly dashed her. She yelled and soon woke up to see that it was a strange and peculiar dream and the time was 1:00am on December 31 2018. She asserted to herself, 'oh! What a bad dream I've had!' and then she slept peacefully.
