A Few Drops....!

Veeresh was fast asleep in his allotted cell when the policeman came to inform that he got bail. Out of the 3 accused in the rape and murder case of a young girl - Rekha, Veeresh, being a juvenile, overcame the legal obligations to set himself free on bail. No one from his family came to receive him outside the jail except a few of his friends. Veeresh has to accompany with his friends and stay with them, at least for the time being, near the slum area where his friends live. Few months from now, Veeresh will turn 18. His friends Anand and Harish make a plan to get him married so that Veeresh can start a new life. But, as they say, old habits hardly die.

In the meantime, Veeresh falls in love with a lady Mina who works as a maid in the nearby flats. A drinking session all alone in his house made him out of his control. Veeresh was caught red handed by the slum people for trying to molest Mina. Veeresh had no other option left now but to succumb to the pressure of Mina’s family and relatives to either get married to her or prepare to go back to the jail.

Veeresh is happily married now and blessed with a baby girl Chinnu. Veeresh becomes too attached to Chinnu and alas, what a turn around in his life. Is this the same person who was a different character altogether before Minu and now Chinnu came into his life.

On the 3rd birthday of Chinnu, Veeresh takes them to a shopping mall. Chinnu enjoys her birthday to the fullest. All of a sudden, Chinnu went missing inside the Mall under mysterious circumstances. No clear footage was available either on CCTV cameras or by any other persons, People find it difficult to console Mina especially Veeresh. They return to their room without Chinnu. Veeresh now realizes the real pain of all those parents of a girl child when they go through a similar situation like this including the parents of Rekha whom he and other 2 had raped and murdered. He is unable to sleep. He goes out and search for Chinnu in the street like a mad man. Almost a month now since Chinnu went missing. Veeresh gets a call on his mobile. The man asks for a ransom or else he would kill Chinnu. He goes to the place where the man invited him to come over. When Veeresh meets the person, he could not believe his eyes. Veeresh had met this person several times in the court and he was the father of Rekha!

Very next moment, Veeresh fell on the feet of Vikram & his wife Sudha. Veeresh literally beg them to show Chinnu at least once. They take him to the adjacent room where Chinnu was sleeping. Next to her bed there was a framed photo of Rekha in full smile.
