Your Purpose, Purposely Yours
Your Purpose, Purposely Yours
You made false promises, made me build,
Castles in the nothingness of air,
Deceived me,
Only to let me hear...
You put my ear over,
The sound of an aching heart,
I heard it breaking,
But couldn't refrain from falling apart...
The shrill screams that it let out,
As it plunged into the darkest streams,
Of despair that it could find.
It feels as if my tears,
Are on constant rewind.
On a player whose batteries never die,
A tape that never ends.
I resent..
I resent you & the hate vividly expands,
With each breath that I breathe,
I loosen my grip over your hand.
I still try to understand...
I try to figure out where I went wrong,
What led me to these old melancholic notes,
Once again.
I still wonder if you came to make me strong,
Or make me lose everything...
