Your Memories

Few years have passed but it feels like yesterday;

I remember back when we would play silly games to pass time; 

I would feel your heartbeat, smell your pleasant perfume and finally, your beautiful and enchanting smile I would see.

I saw through your eyes even though you were far from me.

Whenever I would hear your name, my ears would tingle, my heart would limbo but my mind would blur;

I would ask myself, "What should I tell her?"

Whenever you stood infront of me and gazed into my eyes, I would see my figure in your sparkling eyes, as a result I stood in fear;

But the wondeful thing was that your presence made me forget everything and I would say that which you wanted to hear.

Oh your laughter was like a rare melody such that I wouldn't trade it for the world;

But the truth about those silly games is that, they did not carry meaning into the real world;

And for that I will always be a shadow in your world.

But for days to come; your name and memories shall haunt me;
