You Are Your Only Limit

You Are Your Only Limit

Life has its ups and downs and our real version lies in how we sail through the low tides.

We blame circumstances, people making us feel miserable, but do you know sometimes unknowingly we lay down the foundation for the same.

We get ourselves engrossed in constructing the walls of “self –doubt” and then we seek someone or something to be accountable for that illegal construction.

As I recall an old and famous fairy tale with a new version

I asked, “Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who limits me from achieving my goal?

With a big disappointment, the mirror replied, “You Are Your Only Limit”, that’s the only strong opponent you need to face off.

I was confounded with the answer and questioned the mirror again, “Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who limits me from achieving my goal?"

The mirror replied, ‘You create your wall of self –doubt, you don’t need any other strong opponent when you are against yourself.

You sowed the seed of self-doubt in you, how do you expect the output to be something different?

Negativity doesn’t lead you anywhere, nor do negative thoughts

So shed off the peel of self –doubt, you cannot reach anywhere until you detach yourself from the same."

Being still doubtful, I said:

“But I have my uncertainties, anxiety, qualms", the mirror interrupted in between and replied, "It’s sometimes Ok to get that feeling, but don’t hold on to so long That it builds its nest and stay forever; you need to learn it to let it go

It’s not going to be easy to destroy and bring down that wall immediately, but to be aware of it is the first step in the right direction.

Be careful what you feed your mind with positivity or negativity, they have their impact.

Don’t limit or restrict yourself, have confidence in your wings this would take you to places."

As I was busy trying to grasp the knowledge mirror shared with, mirror finally said,

“Last but not least just imagine how life would be If you are on your side?"
