Wrapping It New
Wrapping It New
Flipping through the pages of my diary,
Came across an old friend.
I and He were close once,
Took a while for the bond to end.
Reminisced the moments lived,
Went over each word when.
Laughter and cries flashed together,
As if it's now; not then.
Thinking of the years passed in vain,
Decided to wrap it new.
Distance doesn't make the heart grow fonder,
Refurbished my point of view.
Dropped the 'He' a message, saying- Hey!
Hoping for a new beginning.
And, yes! It turned the way I thought,
Us, getting a chance of redeeming.
